12// All Of Nothing.

Zane POV

In the shadows of Ninjago city a venomarai snake ran trying to escape. I step forward from the shadows and use my shurikens to ice the ground. The snake slips and falls into the street. Then it looks in horror as electricity cackles from a telephone pole and thunder booms overhead. Jay and Raven drop down and walk slowly to the snake.

Raven has an arrow already locked in the bow and jay swings his nun chucks . The snake runs for refuge in a nearby alley. He trips over some boxes and looks up to see Kai appear in a burst of flames. He gets up and tries to run, but runs right into Cole. "Going somewhere?" Cole says clear amusement in his voice.

We all hold our weapons to him. "Uh oh." he mumbles. "Thought you could joyride through town and not be noticed huh? Where's the last fangblade?" Jay snaps. "I don't know what your talking about." the snake lies. Raven glared down at it and cocked her bow. "You know what it is, the fourth fang blade. When Pythor finds them all he plans to release the great devourer." Kai says holding his sword a little closer.

"Oh, that fangblade," he laughed, "You're too late. Pythor's already there now. He's probably already digging it up! If I were you I would start preparing for the worst! Because when the great devourer is awakened there will be nothing it won't consume!" he shouts.

"Won't that mean it will consume you to?" I tell him. His eyes widen. He yelps. "Please! You have to stop him! That snake is crazy! I don't want to unleash the great devourer! I'm a snake not food!" he shouts in horror.

"Is it really to late to stop Pythor from getting the last fangblade?" Kai asks. "You're days behind him! There's gotta be something else you can do!" The snake yelps. We look at each other wondering if there was something we could do.

Back at the bounty we all stood at the bridge in silence before Nya spoke up.

"The venomarai's right, by the time we get clear across ninjago pythor will already have beat us to the last fangblade." Nya says looking at the screen and where their destination was. "aw come on guys! this is the last one. we got to get it! we gotta think of something." jay says racking his brain.

"Hey if all we have to do is just get one fangblade to stop him what If we take back the other three?" Lloyd suggests. "That's true. Pythor wouldn't risk having them all on him. He probably hid it somewhere while he goes for the fourth."Raven says.

"It's so simple." Cole says to Kai. "I wish I'd thought of that." Kai mumbles. Raven gives Lloyd a fist bump and they both smile. They've grown close ever since they've been captured together.

"It can't be that easy." jay states. "Easy? My algorithm suggests taking the three would be far more dangerous, pythor would undoubtedly have them protected by his top generals." I say checking my sensors first.

"Finally I don't have to hold back." Kai says with joy. "Even if you could steal the other three, you don't even know where they are." Garmadon states from the back of the room. "He's right," says sensei, " For the past few weeks there have been almost no serpentine sightings. How are they moving around? It's like they're ghosts."

"Or snakes!" Nya shouts in surprise. Raven narrows her eyes. "obviously." She says sarcastically. "Just wait,Bridge give me a sonar sweep of Ninjago." Nya shouts as the bridge sweeps Ninjago and no snakes come up. "See,it's just as sensei said." Kai grumbles. "But what if they aren't traveling above ground?" Nya asks us.

"Bridge now give me a sonar sweep of ninjago but 20 feet below surface." Nya says as a projection of the sweep leaps from the screen. the projection shows six tunnels leading into one big cavern. "All the tombs have been interconnected!" Kai says. "To make one massive underground fortress." Cole says in awe. "All this time right under our noses." Jay says. "Or rather, feet." I correct.
