Raven POV

It's been a week since I saw cole at that dinner. I ended up quitting, I don't want to see him again and now he knows where I work. I was able to get a job working at a music store across town. Dad arranged it for me and i wasn't the least surprised when my job had something to do with music.

I was walking home from my last shift, when my mind drifted to my dad and mom. they were so happy together. I walked up to my house. Dad's car was in the drive way so I assumed he was home.

When I approached the door I heard music. He must be practicing. The Ninjago Talent Show Is coming up, and dad is determined that he'll win. But he has won six years in a row so I don't have much doubt.

I opened the door and kicked off my sneakers. I heard voices talking, but mostly my dad's. "....it was the cha cha but I swear the percussionist had it in for me."

I rolled my eyes but still smiled. Dad has told that story a million times, I feel sorry for whoever is listening. I turned the corner and got a surprise. Cole and his three ninja buddies were sitting on the bench. There was a blondie dresses in white, a ginger in blue, and a brunet in red.

They all stared at me. "Oh, and this is my daughter Raven." dad said. I looked at all of them again disgusted. I stomped across the room and dashed up the stairs. I heard footsteps behind me. I ran into my room and slammed the door behind me locking it.

There was a knock on my door. "Go away!" I snap. "Raven..." Cole stammered. "NO. You leave my life for four years, lie to your family, then just show up again and expect things to be all chummy between us? Absolutely not!" i shout through the door.

There was a long silence....

"I know your mad at me, but please just give me a chance." he pleaded. Fury burned inside me. "Give me one good reason why I should!" I spat leaning against the door. "Because mom would want you to." That's it. He went too far. "Don't you dare talk about our mother." i hiss.

"I messed up once. Give me a chance to redeem myself." he says. Thoughts raced through my mind. Even though he was an idiot, he was right. Mom wouldn't have wanted us to be fighting. I raked my fingers through my hair. I squeezed my eyes shut to keep myself from crying again.

I heaved a sigh and slowly unlock the door. I open it and glared at Cole. "Fine, one chance. Don't mess this up." I snap waving a finger in his face before stomping downstairs.

Cole follows me. He puts a hand on my shoulder and i tense up. "Thank you." he says. I only stare at him. Cole walks into the room and sits by his friends, I linger in the doorway. I may have just made a horrible decision.
