{no POV}

The Fangpyre general and Scales stood side by side bickering, the four tribes waited in a single file line to enter the fangpyre tomb that Lloyd opened oh so long ago.

"Why did we listen to Pythor," Grumbled the fangpyre general. "Unleashing the Great Devourer was a horrible idea! It's all your fault!"

"How was i supposed to know he wasss mad?" Scales argued back. The Earth trembled underneath them, and the snakes cried in fear as the Great Devourer passed them by. The remaining snakes jumped into the tomb with the two generals not far behind. The snakes sealed the tomb and sat shaking in the darkness.

{Raven POV}

I peered over Jay's shoulder to see where we were headed. It looked like a scrap yard. The sign read "Ed N' Edna's Scrap and Junk". I hope Kai knows what he's doing.

The Elemental vehicles turned back into weapons and we stood together.  I flipped my hood over my shoulders and the others did the same.

"Good idea Kai, if the devourer likes to eat this is a full on buffet." Cole states looking around. Jay walked over to the trailer and knocked on the door. When there was no reply he sighed. "Looks like my parents are gone." He said looking over his shoulder at us. "Good better for us." Kai says rolling out a blueprint on the hood of a busted up car. I honestly don't know how to describe it other than amazing. It has 5 seats, 4 in the front and 1 in the back with all the controls. Huge wheels by the sides and dozens of buttons on the inside. Jay joins me by my side. "It's so awesome." He says.

"You never told me your parents live here." I say. He gave me a nervous smile. "Surprise..." he says with disgust.  My eyebrows furrowed. "Is something wr-"

"Let's focus on Kai's plan, okay." He cuts me off with his usual energetic grin before turning to kai. He seemed like he was upset about something, though i didn't know what. "Zane, you still have a recording of the sacred flute in your memory bank?" Kai asked and Lloyd tried to look over his shoulder.

"It might have been destroyed earlier," Zane said flipping his wrist panel up like freaking Buzz Lightyear, "But i have it's exact tone recorded and ready for playback." He flips a switch and smiles as the sweet melody of a flute plays. "Good," Kai says. "There should be enough spare parts around here to build this whopper. But we're gonna need to create our biggest tornado of creation yet. It's going to be dangerous and we can't have anyone around-"

Kai was cut off by the ring of a bicycle bell. We all glance behind us. There was the mailman, biking through sand and whistling a tune. "Ugh, what's he doing here?" Cole asks. We jog over to him while he unloads his small bag of mail. He turns around and yelps, almost dropping the letter he was holding. He sighed. "You ninja are always sneaking around, giving people heart attacks. You're too quiet." He says, his shoulders relaxing.

"Part of the job." I say crossing my arms. "I don't remember you." The mailman says squinting. "Oh! You're that new ninja! That's right. Eh- Robin, was it?" The mailman asks me. I scowl at him. "It's Raven." I hiss under my breath. Get your birds right dude! "You need to get out of here now." Kai orders pointing the way the mailman came from. "Uh,well, I-I too have a job and It's delivering the mail." The mailman states handing Jay the letter he was holding. Jay scoffs and stuffs the letter in his pocket. "Look, dude, my parents aren't even here. you really should be on your way."

"Them too? Let me guess, the 'Take back Ninjago rally'?" He asks. "What is that?" i question.

"You guys haven't heard?" He asks walking back to his bike, "Everyone's getting together for a rally in the city, you know to raise awareness about all the serpentine problems that have been surfacing lately." He replies kicking up his kickstand. "Woah," Lloyd says from behind me. I turn to look at him. He's sitting on the hood of the beat up car. "Would you look at that, you guys are inspirational!" I snort at the witty remark and he gives me a wink.
