8// The Green and Teal Ninjas {part two}

Garmadon hit Kai in the head, Kai knees him in the stomach. In the end they were both tossed and landed on the floor. "I'm alive! I'm alive!" Kai cheered. Garmadon stood behind him. "You need to be taught a lesson." He grumbled. Kai turned around an deflected his blow then hit him in the head and almost knocked his helmet off.

Garmadon whirled around and kicked Kai in the stomach but Kai ricocheted off the wall and landed on his feet again. He jumped over Garmadon, took hold of the bone on his helmet and knocked Garmadon down.

Garmadon got up again and they both punched at the same time. They both looked away and held their fists. "ow ow ow ow." Kai mumbled. "Kai you in here?" Nya shouted down the hall as Kai raced over to the door and saw everyone coming downstairs.

Kai shut the door and locked it then turned to face Garmadon. They once again fought.

Nya jiggled the handle of the door but it wouldn't budge. "What are you doing?!" she shouted in horror. "Discovering my true potential!" Kai shouted before Garmadon tossed him into the wall. Jay stepped forward and tried the handle. "The door won't budge!" he said continuing to jiggle the handle.

"Kai thinks he'll unlock his power if he stands up to Lord Garmadon!" Nya says worriedly glancing at the door. "Why would he think that?" Zane asks. "He thinks he's the green ninja!" Nya shouts. "Well if we don't open this door soon I think he's gonna be mince meat!" Cole said pushing Jay aside and knocking down the door.

The ninja, Nya, and sensei spilled into the room to see Kai standing on top of Garmadon panting. "I defeated him! I did it! Are my eyes glowing? Did I unlock my power? Is this my true potential?" Kai made a noise that was in between a grunt and a growl as he tried to make some flames. "Why isn't it working?" he asked aloud

"Because you cannot defeat someone who allowed himself to be defeated." sensei said stepping forward and trying to help Garmadon up. "I wasn't going to hurt you boy I was only fetching your weapons." Garmadon says sitting up. "But you were trying to steal them!" kai shouted. "I asked him to get them. Perhaps it's best you do not reach your true potential.Or else some one could get hurt." sensei said looking away.

"Way to go hero." Cole said sarcastically as Kai looked at the floor. "Poor thing, let me help you." Nya said kneeling to Garmadon's side and helping him up. "Yes, poor thing." Garmadon said under his breath smiling evilly.

The Bounty shook. "Sounds like we've finally reached our destination." Cole said as they all ran onto the deck. "The fire temple."

All but Nya exited the bounty and started towards the fire temple. The falcon swooped overhead and Nya spoke through the speakers. "The volcano is on the verge of eruption, guys. All recent indicators tell me this place is becoming increasingly fragile, even the smallest rupture could make the whole thing go off."

"Then we must not use our weapons." sensei said as Cole, jay and Zane put their weapons away. "Kai." Nya said as Kai sighed. "Yeah, yeah. No fire sword, but only because I don't want anything to prevent us from getting that fangblade." Kai said to the falcon while putting his sword away.

"Or my son." Garmadon said leading the way. "Or raven." Cole mumbled. " There, the serpentine must be inside the inner core. From here on out we travel by shadows." sensei said as they all ran into the temple. "It's the only way I know how." Garmadon answered.

They all looked down on the snake's digging site. "There's Lloyd." Jay whispers and points to Lloyd's cage. "And Raven!" Cole whispered looking at Raven who stood next to Lloyd.

Pythor stares at the map when the snake digging hit something metal. Pythor gasps and pushes the snake aside. "Out of my way fool!" he shouts jumping down into the hole and using his tail to wipe the dirt off the fangblade. "The third fangblade is ours!" he shouts holding the blade up and looking into the metal as the snakes cheer.
