Y/N POV:
The next afternoon, I was sitting on the edge of the bed, lost in thought, when Jin stepped in the room. He had a tray in his hands and a small white box. He set the tray on the table next to the bed then picked up the box, popping the top open revealing a first aid kit.
"Can... can I clean those scratches?" Jin asked gently, his voice soft. "We don't know what that dirty bitch has under her nails."
I snorted at his words then immediately covered my mouth, cowering in fear. I didn't mean to laugh at his joke or make fun of that horrid girl, but I couldn't help it.
When Jin didn't hit me, I looked up at him, a hint of sadness in his eyes. "I almost got you to laugh there, huh?" he asked, his voice too bright to be real. "Maybe next time I'll get a real one out of you."
I looked down at my fingers in my lap, afraid to make eye contact.
Jin lifted my chin with a gentle hand. "Please let me take care of these," he pleaded. I said nothing but nodded my head with a quick jerk. Jin took a wipe from a package. "This is going to sting but it will be over soon." He dabbed the scratches with the wipe, his eyes filling with guilt when I hissed out in pain. Gently blowing on the scratches, Jin looked down at me, his eyes soft.
'Thank you," I replied, my voice low, worried he would hurt me.
"It's alright. I wont hurt you," Jin promised, his voice tender as though he were dealing with a spooked kitten. "Will you please eat something? For me?"
Jin lifted the lids off the dishes and my eyes widened at the selection of foods, a plate of meat and vegetables, a bowl of fluffy rice, a small salad with crisp lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumbers, even a frosted brownie. There was a glass with something bright pink that looked like juice and a frosted glass of ice water.
"You didn't have to do this," I insisted. "I don't know why you're being nice to me when you're going to just kill me anyway." I know I sounded harsh but I couldn't help it. I didn't trust any of them and the kindness they were showing me was confusing me.
"Who said anything about killing you?" Jin questioned, his eyes wide with confusion and worry.
"Yoongi told me if I didn't tell him what he wants to know then he would. And that crazy bitch girlfriend of his said if I went near him, she would kill me," I blurted out then covered my mouth.
"Girlfriend?" Jin asked. "Are you talking about Soren? Yoongi is not seeing Soren. She's his brother's widow. The only reason that psycho is still here is because Yoongi promised to take care of her when his brother died."
I didn't know what to say abut the information Jin just shared with me. Why would that girl threaten me if they weren't together? It seems there is more going on with them than what Jin knows. The idea of Yoongi dating his brother's widow made me sick to my stomach. Who would do something like that?
"And I don't think Yoongi is planning on killing you," Jin reassured me. "There were some things about you that... that we weren't previously aware of."
"Oh? Really?" I asked sarcastically. "Like what? Like the fact that my parents neglected me and I had no one? Or that those same loving parents tried to marry me off to a rapist? Who got me pregnant after one of those wonderful sessions but wasn't convinced it was his so he tried to take care of the situation himself? Don't you know a knife wound to the stomach is a great way to cause a miscarriage?" I yanked up my shirt, showing Jin the scar across my stomach that was 6 inches long. "I thought I was going to get lucky and bleed out with this one, but of course, my luck wasn't that good."
