Y/N POV:
With no phone to keep track of the time, I had no idea how long I had been chained to the bed. I had been trying to pull my wrist free from the cuff around it, but it was no use. My wrist was raw and sore from where I had been tugging on it. I knew that if I kept pulling on it, I was going to risk serious damage, but I didn't want to give up either. I had to figure out a way to get out of here.
As I sat there trying to think of a way to escape, the door opened a young pretty woman stepped in. She had straight black hair and a sunny smile. She was carrying a tray with what looked to be a sandwich and a bottle of water.
"Hi honey," the woman said in a gentle voice. "I'm Dawon."
I scooted closer to the headboard, trying to get further away from her as she approached. Dawon frowned at my movements and her eyes darted down to my bloody wrist. Her pretty dark eyes filled with concern. "Oh honey... what have you done?" she asked.
I avoided Dawon's worried gaze as she set the tray down on the bedside table. She lifted the breakfast tray, her smile once again disappearing as she looked at the mostly full tray. She walked towards the door, said something to someone who was just on the other side, and passed them the tray. She closed the door, locking it, then sticking the key in her pocket.
Dawon came back towards me, her movements slow as though she was approaching a frightened kitten. "It's okay honey. I promise I won't hurt you. They called me here to help you," she said, her words gentle and soft.
I looked up at her dark eyes and my racing heart calmed a bit. Her pretty face was concerned and her pink lips were set in a slight frown as she looked at my raw skin. "Who are you?" I asked.
"My name is Dawon. My brother, Hoseokie, is works for Yoongi," she said softly.
I backed away again at the sound of that name. Even hearing the man's name was enough to send me into a panic. I could feel the sweat bead on my forehead and my once calming heart start to race. The burn of tears stung the back of my eyes.
Dawon noticed my reaction and set a gentle hand on my unchained wrist. As I went to jerk it away, she closed her finger around it, preventing me from moving it. "Listen honey. I promise I'm not going to hurt you. I'm just here to help," she said, her words calm. "I'm sure you would like a shower and I can see why you didn't want Jimin to help you. That pervert," she said with a smile.
Jimin must be the guy with the silver hair that was here earlier. As handsome as he is, the way he leered at me made my skin crawl. I hesitated then nodded my head. I felt disgusting. My hair was matted and sticky from sweat and tears, my clothes were wrinkled and damp, and I hadn't been able to brush my teeth in more than 12 hours. "Please," I said, my words quiet.
Dawon gave me another sunny smile. "Of course honey," she replied. She pulled a small silver key from her pants pocket then squatted down. I could hear a tiny click and the chain slackened. Dawon had the chain held in her hand. "Please don't try anything silly," she pleaded, her voice worried.
I nodded. This sweet girl was trying to help me. If I escaped on her watch, there is no telling what Yoongi and that weirdo Jimin would do to her. Dawon helped me off the bed and led me into the bathroom. There was a large metal ring attached to the wall. Dawon looked at the ring then looked at me. "Please don't chain me to it. I promise I won't try to run," I said, my eyes filled with tears and my voice begging.
Dawon sighed then nodded her head. She held a hand out for my wrist. I gave her the one with the cuff and she unlocked it with the silver key. After slipping my hand out of the cuff, I inspected my wrist. It was sore and bloody, the skin raw from where it rubbed against the metal. "After you shower, I'll bandage your wrist," she said, her eyes dejected as she stared at the wound.
I nodded and Dawon turned and left the bathroom, stopping right outside the open door. I turned the shower on, adjusted the temperature then stripped out of my clothes, dropping them to the floor. I stepped in the shower and almost moaned at the feel of the hot water running over my skin. I quickly washed and conditioned my hair with the products in there then lathered up my body. My wrist burned when the soap hit the sensitive skin, but I held it under the water to wash the dried blood away.
I turned off the shower and reached for the fluffy towel hanging on the rack. I briskly dried myself off then stepped up to the door. Dawon turned and gave me a smile then handed me a stack of clean clothes. It consisted of soft black pants, a long sleeve blue shirt, fuzzy socks and even undergarments. I dressed in the clothes, surprised that they fit perfectly then picked up my dirty clothes. I saw a hamper in the corner and dropped them in there with the towel.
Dawon came back into the bathroom and gestured for me to sit down on the closed toilet lid. She pulled a first aid kit out from under the sink then cleaned and bandaged my wound. Afterwards she led me back into the bedroom. She picked up the cuff, a sad smile on her face. "I'm so sorry honey, but I have to put this back on you," she said.
I nodded. I understood that it wasn't her fault. She had to follow orders and I didn't want her getting punished because of me. She chained me back to the bed then sat on the edge while I ate the sandwich she brought me. I didn't want to at first, but hunger finally won over stubbornness.
Dawon sat and talked to me while I ate, asking me about my program at school. Something about her made me feel comfortable. I even confided in her about the issues with my family and Jackson. She gave a small smile when I told her about him, telling me about her own boyfriend at home.
Before she left, she promised she would come see me again. As she was heading out the door, I stopped her. "Dawon?" She turned with a questioning look on her face. "Thank you," I said softly. She gave me a last gentle smile then opened the door, closing it quietly behind her.
Yoongi POV:
I was sitting in the chair in my office with Jimin and Hoseok when Dawon knocked on the door then stepped inside. "How did it go?" I asked.
Dawon gave me a shrug. "She did let me help her," she said, her voice hesitant.
"But?" I asked, my voice filled with irritation.
"I just feel so sad for her," Dawon replied, her eyes downcast. "Y/N's having such a hard time with her family. She finally meets a nice boy who could be the one and she's snatched away from it all."
My chest burned as she spoke of the guy. "Look Dawon," I said, "she's not the poor victim you're making her out to be. Daddy and mommy spoiled their little princess. She has wanted for nothing."
Dawon gave me a look that made me squirm in my seat. "You don't know that. You're making assumptions based on what? She actually talked to me," she said, her voice rising. "That girl was miserable before you took her. The only good thing she had was the boy."
My heart clenched again at her words. "That guy is not important," I said. "And she sure has you tricked."
Hoseok held out a hand as his sister went to speak again. "Dawonnie please don't," he said, his eyes pleading.
Dawon's eyes filled with unshed tears as she turned toward her brother. "I'm disappointed in you Hoseokie," she said, her voice filled with pain. Her eyes cleared as she turned on Jimin. "And you... you stay the hell away from Y/N." She left the office, slamming the door behind her.
Jimin held up his hands in innocence. "What did I do?" he asked, his voice filled with confusion.I shook my head. "Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to bring Dawon in," I said, my voice filled with regret.
Hoseok shrugged his shoulders. "Y/N trusted her and that's what we needed," he said.
I nodded, my head filled with everything Dawon had said. Did I really know my angel that well?
