Y/N POV:

When I woke up a little while later, Jimin was still seated behind me, arms wrapped around me and my fingers knotted in his shirt.  I don't know why I sought the comfort of the man in my sleep but there was something strange about him that made me feel safe, made me feel oddly protected.  When I first met him, he was one of the scariest men I had ever met, from the cocky demeanor to the way he treated me to the way he tortured the nurse in the basement.  However, something about that changed in the last few days.  There was a shift that I couldn't quite explain.

I could hear Yoongi's quiet but deep voice in the room and they were talking about Soren, about something she had done, something they were going to do with her.  I couldn't make out exactly what they were saying and I couldn't help but flinch when I heard her name.

At the movement, Jimin leaned down, looking directly in my eyes, a look of gentle concern in his.  "Well hello my darling.  Did you sleep well?"  Not wanting to say anything to upset Yoongi, I simply nodded.  I looked down to where my hand was, pressed so closely to his chest and went to move it, but Jimin stopped me with a gentle hand to my wrist.  "You're just fine where you're at.  You don't have to move anything.  Just hang onto me for a little while longer."

Although I was still afraid of him, I relaxed back into his gentle embrace, the soothing motion of his hand on my hair, lulling me into a false sense of security, a sense of protection I knew I shouldn't get used to, but unable to stop myself from sinking into.  A gentle knock on the door had me slightly turning to see Jin coming in with a tray filled with silver covered dishes.  "Hey honey.  I was hoping you would be awake.  I brought you some dinner.  Think you can eat something?"

I hesitated then nodded, remembering what Yoongi had done to me the first time I refused Jin's food.  Jin set the tray on the table then moved it a little closer and I struggled to sit up.  Jimin helped me get into a sitting position, his arms supporting me, strong but careful at the same time.  "Just move slowly my darling.  I've got you."

His husky words near my ear sent a shiver down my spine, one I knew he caught because of the soft huff of laughter that moved my hair.  Once I was sitting, Jimin sat next to me, an arm around me.  Jin lifted the lids off the dishes and once again I was stunned by the array of foods he had brought me.  A plate of some delicious smelling meat and gravy over egg noodles, a side of broccoli and carrots that gave off a slight garlicky aroma, a frosted glass of a bright pink punch of some sort, and a dish of chocolate covered strawberries.  "Th-thank you Jin," I stammered out quietly, grateful for his kindness but unsure just what to say to him with Yoongi nearby.

"Looks like our Jinnie went all out for you," Jimin observed, studying the food in front of me.  "He never makes food for us like this."

Jin's ears turned bright red at the comment.  Mumbling something about needing to finish making dinner, Jin stumbled out of the room, making me giggle at his hasty retreat.

"I wish you would laugh like that more often," Jimin said, stroking my cheek with one finger, his eyes sad.  "You have such a sweet laugh."

Although I could get lost in his pretty eyes, I tore my gaze away from Jimin, focusing on the food in front of me.  Jimin kept an arm around me as I ate, while Yoongi stayed off to the side, quietly observing.  His dark eyes made me nervous and when I made eye contact with him, my hand shook so bad, I almost dropped the silverware I was holding.  I heard Yoongi sigh but I refused to look back over at him.

After a short while, I set the silverware down and looked up at Jimin, as though asking permission to be done.  Jimin smiled.  "You did a good job my darling.  I'm glad to see you eating a little more.  We don't want such a pretty girl to turn into a skeleton now, do we?"
