Y/N POV:

The next morning I woke with a headache. I was stressing out over the unknown man who had been messaging me. It was beginning to frighten me. He seemed to know things about me and it was scary. I had blocked his number a couple times but it seemed he was able to get around it and message me again.

After taking a quick shower, I got dressed and fixed my hair and makeup before heading out the door. I wanted to swing by the coffee shop before class and grab a latte. As I stepped into the coffee shop, I noticed Jackson in line in front of me. As I approached, he turned around with a smile.

"Hey Y/N," he said. "Good to see you again."

I smiled in response. "Yeah it sure is."

Jackson walked up to the counter and placed his order then turned to me. "What would you like?" he asked. When I started to protest, he waved a hand at me. "Please. I want to treat you." I gave him a shy smile then told the barista what I wanted.

After Jackson paid of our drinks, we made small talk while waiting for them. He mentioned that he comes here often before class and usually ends up getting the same things. I smiled at that. "You remind me of a kid that always orders chicken nuggets at a restaurant," I said.

Jackson held a hand to his chest in fake offense. "Ouch. How rude!" he said with a laugh. The barista called Jackson's name and he stepped up to the counter to pick up our drinks. He handed one to me and we left the shop together, walking in companionable silence together while sipping our drinks.

We came up to the entrance and were about to go our separate ways when Jackson stopped me with a hand to my wrist. "Would... umm... would you be interested in having dinner tomorrow night?" he asked, his cheeks flushing pink.

"I would like that," I replied. "What time?"

"How about I pick you up around 6?" he suggested.

"That sounds good. I'll text you my address," I said.

Jackson nodded then leaned in as though he was going to hug me but then stopped. I made the decision to give him a hug since he seemed too bashful to make the first move. He looked surprised and a happy smile lit up his face.

"Well..." he said, rubbing the back of his neck, "I guess I'll see you tomorrow."

I nodded. "Sounds good," I replied. I waved goodbye and headed down the corridor towards my morning class, a happy smile on my face.

A couple hours later, I headed to the cafeteria to meet up with Lina for a coffee. She was seated at the table, both coffees already sitting in front of her. I sat down in front of her, thanking her as I took a sip of my coffee.

"Well?" Lina asked, a smirk on her face.

"Well what?" I asked, confusion coloring my voice.

"So you have a date with Jackson tomorrow night, huh?" she asked.

I looked at her in surprise. "How do you know that?" I questioned.

Lina smiled. "I overheard Jackson mentioning it to his buddy this morning. He sounded really excited. It was so cute!" she squealed.

I reached over and pinched her arm. "Keep it down will you?" I asked.

Lina went to say something but stopped and stared over my shoulder. I was about to ask her what the problem was when I felt a hand on my arm. I turned around to see Namjoon and Taehyung standing there, each with a cup of coffee.

"Do you ladies mind if we join you?" Namjoon questioned. Lina waved her hand at the table and Namjoon sat next to me. Taehyung went around the table and sat on the other side of Lina. "What's going on with you ladies today?" Namjoon asked sweetly.

"Not too much," I replied, nerves taking over. These two men were extremely handsome and it made me nervous to talk to them.

Lina gave me a sly smile. "Just discussing Y/N's date for tomorrow night," she said. I gave her a strange look not sure why she would mention that.

I didn't miss the look that passed between the two guys before Taehyung spoke up. "Ooohhh a date? Give us all the dirty details!" he said.

I laughed at his gossipy girl reaction. "Yeah it's nothing like that. Just dinner with a new friend," I replied.

Taehyung smiled at me while Namjoon looked almost relieved. We sat and talked for a few more minutes before checking the time. I stood up and gathered my belongings with Lina following me. "It was nice talking to you guys," I said with a shy smile.

Namjoon nodded. "I'm sure we will see you very soon," he said, a bright smile on his face.

I made my way out of the cafeteria with Lina following behind me. As soon as we were out of view, I turned around and smacked her arm. "Why would you tell them I have a date? That was so weird."

Lina pouted and rubbed her arm. "I just didn't want them to think that you were just another easy lay," she replied. "That's all those guys are interested in."

I thought about what she said and nodded in agreement. "Okay okay. I forgive you," I said. "You're probably right anyways."

I said goodbye and turned to leave, but Lina put her hand on my shoulder. "Y/N, Jackson is really nice. I don't want to see him hurt because of those guys," she said gently.

I patted her hand. "No worries. I have no interest in those two." With those words, we said our goodbyes and parted ways.

I went through the rest of the day thinking about what Lina said. I didn't get any more messages from the unknown number. After a quick dinner and a couple texts to Jackson that evening, I finally fell asleep around 10, thinking of my date with Jackson the next evening.

Unknown POV:

I sat at my desk and looked at my watch. It was fifteen minutes to midnight and everything was in place. Hoseok and Taehyung were stationed in a van outside the girl's condo. Namjoon and Jin were in place and waiting for the signal to move.

I was twirling a pen between my fingers, irritation filling my mind. Namjoon and Taehyung told me about the girl's date the next evening with that guy from the coffee shop. I didn't know who this guy was and why he kept getting in my way. I had no feelings for the girl but at the same time, the idea of this guy getting close to her pissed me off.

Jimin came into the office and plopped down gracefully into a chair. "Everything is in place," he said with a smile.

I nodded. "I know," I replied shortly.

"What's your problem?" he asked, a look of amusement on his face. "Is it because of what Namjoon said earlier about the girl's date with that guy?"

I shook my head in false denial. "No. It's nothing," I said.

Jimin raised an eyebrow at me. "Come off it. I know you better than anyone. You twirl pens around your fingers when you're irritated. It helps calm you down so you don't beat the shit out of anyone," he said, a smirk on his face.

I looked down at the pen between my fingers and dropped it to the desk. I ran a hand through my hair. "I'm fine," I replied.

Jimin just sat there with that raised eyebrow. "Sure," he said, shrugging his shoulders.

I looked down at my watch. Five minutes to go. Taehyung should be tapping into the power system by now.

A static voice came from the walkie talkie on my desk. "Alarm system is down. Power will be down in 1 minute," Hoseok said. A short time later, Hoseok's voice came through again. "Power is down. Disabling backup locks now," he said.

Jimin looked at me with a smile. It was go time.
