Okay so this isn't all frerard because I wanted to represent polyamorous groups? couples? I'm not sure of the right word but I wanted to represent the fact that it's not all about sex, and I felt this was the right way to do it
Also this is a little late but oh well
Gerard was stressed.
It was Valentine's Day, and he felt guilty, because he wouldn't be able to spend the day with all three of his partners. Maybe a few minutes, but between work and his basic functions, he only had time for so much.
He was driving home from work, debating what he was going to do. He couldn't spend the day with just one person, that would make the others upset. He didn't want to do that, anyway. He didn't prefer one partner over the others, he loved them all equally.
When he pulled into his driveway, three other cars were blocking his way. He recognized those cars. Excited, he parked on the side of the road and walked towards his front door.
Lindsey opened it. "He's here!"
"Hi!" Gerard kissed her and followed her inside. "What's going on?"
"We're having a date." Lindsey peeked into the living room. "Bert, be careful."
Gerard looked into the living room too. Bert had Frank on his shoulders, but he didn't get to see what they were doing, because Lindsey yanked him back.
"No looking! It's a surprise."
"Can I go take a shower?"
"Fine, but you have to wear a blindfold."
"I'll close my eyes."
"My love, you have terrible impulse control. Spin."
Gerard smiled and turned around, letting Lindsey tie a blindfold around his eyes. She led him upstairs, making it with minor injuries, and then took his blindfold off once they were on the second floor. "Alright. Go shower and de-stress. I'll come get you when we're ready."
"Alright." Gerard smiled and watched her walk back downstairs. He went to his bedroom and unpacked his work bag, then went to the bathroom, stripped, and turned on the water.
"Wait!" Someone knocked on the door.
Gerard opened the door a bit and peeked through. Bert and Frank were both standing there.
"We wanted to say hi," Frank said. He pecked Gerard's lips. "Enjoy your shower."
"Get clean, you stink." Bert kissed him too, and they both left. Gerard smiled and stepped back into the now steamy room. He stepped under the hot spray and sighed, feeling the stress of his day melt away. He wasn't sure why he was so worried. He knew he had the world's most amazing boyfriends and girlfriend (even if they did send pictures of him sleeping and making weird faces to each other in a group chat called 'people dating gerard').
Lindsey was sitting on his bed when he left the bathroom. She smiled. "Want me to leave?"
"It's alright. What's the attire?"
"Uh, whatever you want. I think we all brought pajamas, and beware, we will be sleeping in your bed."
"My bed is not gonna fit four of us."
"Looks like you'll be sleeping on the couch."
"You guys aren't dating each other!"
"Tragic." Lindsey smiled. "You're the tallest."
"Barely. You're almost taller than me because of my posture."
"Alright, babe." She kissed his cheek. "Get dressed and come downstairs."
He shook his head, smiling softly, and put on some comfy pajamas. Downstairs, he was met with softly twinkling lights all over the walls and candles and roses on his coffee table. Tears welled up in his eyes.
"Happy Valentine's Day," Frank, who was closest, said. He led him over to the couch. "You are our favorite human."
"I love you guys." Gerard opened his arms. The three of them piled into his hug.
They ended up watching movies all evening, and eating pizza late at night. Gerard fell asleep across all of their laps later on. When they finally decided to go to bed, they woke him up, and all went upstairs.
Gerard was half asleep on Bert's shoulder with Frank on top of him while they waited for Lindsey to finish taking off her makeup. "You're my favorite boys in the world."
"I love you," Bert said softly.
"I love you as well," Frank said, pressing a kiss to his neck.
Gerard sighed happily. "I love you guys too."
Lindsey entered the room and shut off the light. She climbed into bed on Gerard's free side and snuggled up next to him.
It didn't take long for the four of them to fall asleep. All of them so in love, their hearts full as they slept next to the people they loved.
