Jaia knew exactly where Anakin would be. Her vision had given her that location only just weeks ago, the fire and lava of Mustafar burning her eyes as if the vision had happened then and there. She had stayed on Coruscant to try to prevent it. Now it was happening for real.

She didn't stop it. Could it still change? She had seen the way the event was supposed to go... and surely, Jaia could try to change that.

Looking between Padme and Obi Wan in silence on Padme's shining spacecraft only left Jaia feeling sick. Her entire body ached as though it were falling apart; being thrown across the Chancellor's office had taken a large toll on her.

Once the ship had landed, Jaia secured her saber tightly to the belt on her waist, and headed for the opening shaft of Padme's ship.

"You shouldn't rush out there-," Obi Wan started, but Jaia cut him off.

"I've seen the way this goes. I wasn't out there when it began. I need to be this time," she said, then turned to Padme. "You need to stay here."

Padme didn't necessarily argue, but the instruction had most certainly rubbed her the wrong way. She was already twisted with grief and confusion, losing Anakin to the dark side bringing her to her own personal dark hovel internally. The senator nodded, holding her pregnant stomach delicately, and didn't respond.

As the opening shaft descended to the platform of Mustafar, Jaia stood her ground at the top of the opening, staring down to the figure she knew she would immediately come to contact with. It was, in fact, Padme's ship. Anakin would without a doubt storm towards it with concern and most likely, relief.

Instead, he had come to see Jaia standing in the opening, her face sad, her head shaking.

"You shouldn't be here," Anakin yelled, his eyes sad, a glowing yellow like the sparks of fire burning behind him.

"And yet I am," Jaia said calmly, as calm as she could possibly be. She held her hands up, trying to show Anakin that she didn't mean a threat. At least, not yet. Hopefully, not ever. "Why do you think that is, Ani?" Anakin didn't respond, his eyes welling with angered, somber tears that were fighting to cling to his yellow eyes. Instead, he glanced back to the ship Jaia had come from. "Padme is fine, I promise."

"Where is she?" he said loudly, unable to hold back his anger.

    "We need to talk first."

    "I should kill you."

"You should," Jaia said simply, trying not to get emotional herself. She could feel her throat becoming hoarse, emotions tumbling over as she tried to process the pain she could see throughout Anakin's features. "That's what the chancellor has instructed you to do. To kill all of the Jedi." She took a breath, wondering whether her words were going to help reach Anakin, or to convince him to end her. "Ani, you don't need to do that."

Anakin looked, just for a small moment, like he wanted to agree with Jaia. Still, he shook off the temporary weakness, shaking his head. "Yes, I do."

"Stop," Obi Wan's voice sounded from behind Jaia, and she twisted her head around for just a moment to process the sheer disregard to orders Obi Wan was committing.

"I told you to stay on the ship!"

"He's here too?" Anakin yelled, suddenly becoming even angrier than he had been moments before. "You're both here to kill me, aren't you?"

"No- no we're not," Jaia said quickly, giving a harsh look over to Obi Wan. "We're here to help you."

    "I don't need you."
