Hunting for a Supernatural Hunter

Sunset was near and still no sign of Biffy, Sumire was at the hospital getting Luna checked over; they were amazed that due to everything that had happened she had only come out with no broken bones, just cuts and grazes and nothing more.

Sumire thought that was because she had taken both vampires and werewolves supernatural abilities to heal herself, before she was rescued by her father.

"Luna I'm so sorry that this has happened" said Sumire in Japanese making Luna look up from what the doctor was doing and replied in Japanese "it's ok mama, she wanted to get papa first but instead she grabbed me to get to papa" and she started crying again.

"Lady Rabiffano if you please inform me of what happened?" said a voice that she knew well, it was the police commissioner, she left her children with the nurses while they were with the doctor and headed outside to talk to the commissioner in privet.

"Well let's see, my daughter was kidnapped from London a week ago by Janice Stevens and so me and my husband came to rescue her... then we ended up in a bit of a bother..." explained Sumire to her and all at the same time she nodded.

"...we found out where she had her and sadly we were captured by Janice Stevens and held prisoner for two nights... do you know anything about werewolves?" asked Sumire but the commissioner just shook her head not really understanding the question.

"...well let's just say we were rescued by a wolf, he killed Janice to protect us sadly he was injured as well and has now disappeared. My husband is still looking for our daughter as we went separate ways to look for her" finished Sumire.

"So your saying a wolf rescued you and your children? That I don't understand Lady Rabiffano, why would a wolf do something like that, aren't they wild animals?" said the commissioner to her and all Sumire said was "my family are protected by wolves since Victorian times" and she left to go check on her children.

They finally left the hospital two nights later, they had been in America for almost a fortnight and it had been nothing but pain, they wanted to leave but Sumire didn't let them go until Biffy returned and this time they would be going by boat.

It was another day and a half before Biffy finally returned to the hotel, Unmei's head popped up the moment he entered the room making everyone look towards the door.

"Sandalio, welcome back" cried Sumire to him but it was the children that bombarded him making him fall backwards and straight into the wall behind him.

"Children please, your father isn't up to that at the moment, he needs a good day's rest to recover" she said to her children who in turn let him go so then he could get up.

"Papa, are you alright?" asked Unmei to him and he just said "I'll be fine after a day's rest my sweet" and he flopped on to a bed and started snoring slightly as he went.

"You will keep the noise down while your father rests, ok?" said Sumire to them and they all nodded, they watched television, coloured and read some books that where left there by the hotel staff.

Sumire ordered room service for everyone so then she didn't have to leave her children and husband in the room alone, just to be on the safe side, she didn't want anything else to happen to her family.

A week later they finally left and headed towards the harbour and asked for passage on a cruise liner on its way to England.

On the ship Biffy again rested during the day, Sumire knew he would be safe and left him to sleep the day away while she watched over her children.

"Mama when we get home can we finally have our party?" asked Luna who was back to her old self but she had changed over their time in America, she was less hyper and very cautious of people around her now, she didn't trust anyone.

"Yes my dear you can" said a male voice that she knew "papa" and she ran up to him and hugged him tightly, making sure not to let go, "Luna, my dear let your father go, we have to go and have some dinner" laughed her mother who was holding her other two children.

Inside the dining hall everyone knew who the Rabiffano family was but when they saw how they looked no one came up to talk to them, "please this way" said the porter to them and they were given a table.

"Mama how much longer until we get there?" asked the children together, both of their parents smiled at them and then said "another few days" said Sumire to them and then she looked at Biffy.

"Are you feeling any better, my love?" asked Sumire to him and he smiled back saying "I'm fine my love, I just can't wait to be back with the pack and go for a run".

They spent the next few days relaxing and having some family time before they got back to the noise of London life once more. Through their time on the ship they met so many people who wanted to know more about them and why they had gone to America and why they had decided to go by boat.

They tried to answer all the questions but soon they left saying that they had to get the children to bed but this was to get out of the situation before someone said what really happened.

They landed back in London a week later and funny enough they were greeted my most of the pack and Lord Akeldama himself at the port.

"Akel!" cried the children as they rushed off the boat and into his waiting arms. "Cherry blossoms how much I missed you" he said as he held them in his arm even though he was now human and he was holding three vampire children.

"Please let's just go home, I want my own bed" said Sumire to everyone making Lord Akeldama smile more, "why daffodil I've never heard you say anything like that before".

She just looked at him showing everyone a very tired an aged woman; she had been through so much with her family, that she just wanted rest, quiet, quiet rest.

Everyone got into the waiting car and they headed home, the moment she sat down she was asleep. "Papa is mama ok?" asked Lyall to him, showing him that he knew more than he wanted. "Lyall she's ok, your mama is just tired. Plus I think it would be best if she rested before she meets your grandparents again".

Lyall just looked at him but said nothing to him at all until they ended up back at the house. Outside Sumire's family where waiting for them, to talk to Sumire about what had happened but she just walked right passed them and into the house closing the door saying nothing.

"Sandalio what happened?" asked Jiro to his son in law but he too said nothing all he did was sigh towards them and followed his wife inside pushing his children forward.

"My Lord I'll ask Sumire to give you back your supernatural state, you'll be fine by tomorrow" and he went inside, making the pack follow him but they knew right away that he would be back tomorrow after he rested and came to terms with what had happened over in America.

By the following night Sumire was at the breakfast table before any of the pack came, they were surprised to see her when they entered. "My Lady, what brings you here this early into the night?" asked Captain Bluebottle as he sat down.

"Well let's just say I wanted to talk to you all before my husband comes down with the children" said Sumire drinking her tea as she went. All of the pack where waiting to hear more and once she had finished her tea she continued.

"In America Luna was tormented by Janice Stevens, she also as I'm sure you could tell that Lio was shot..." all of them gasped at this but then they stopped once the said Alpha walked in.

"I assure you I'm alright, if Sumire hadn't managed to get bullets out in time as I was healing after full moon, I wouldn't be here and that Channing would be the new Alpha of this pack" said Biffy as he leaned against the door frame hiding the children behind him.

"Thank you Lio for that, I will also tell each one of you that this has changed all the children in some way, Luna is quieter due to what she went through; Lyall has much more of an insight of what happened and Unmei has come more out of her shell" Sumire left it like that as all the children came to the table for breakfast.
