"So, are you sure you don't want to take up my offer" Thomas, flirts again, leaning outside the congress room. I'm pretty sure it's only to get under Alexanders nails and most of the time it works. However it's been annoying me for the past 2 months and I don't have much patience left, I just want to go into the meeting that I'm slightly too early for "I promise you I am really good in b.." Thomas smiles and winks. "No thank you" I reply, walking in. Thomas walks after me, tapping me on the shoulder, until I finally turn around. "What" I angrily groan. Thomas laughs and looks at someone over my shoulder. "Come on. You and I would make beautiful children" Thomas smiles, fake puppy eying me with a pouty lip. "No Thomas. I don't want to have sex or children with you Thomas. Ever. " I aggravatedly shout in his face. Oh shit, Washington and Alex are in this room and I just shouted that at top volume. I look behind me to see Washington and Alexander both gunning for Jefferson.
"I suggest you run" I quickly warn him, a smug look on my face. Thomas takes one look over my shoulder and his whole face changes to scared, he rapidly runs out of the room. "That's my wife you asshole" Alexander shouts. Jefferson shuts the door behind him and I can hear his footsteps quickly running by. Alexander and Washington reach the door and that's when I have had quite enough "That is enough. Both of you sit down" order loudly. Washington immediately stops, but Alexander opens the door just a bit "Alexander sit the fuck down" I warn, pointing to a chair. "But Bee. He is asking for it" Alexander says, his hand still on the door. "Don't call me that" I warn stepping closer, "You don't need to defend my honor or whatever. You have no rights to do that anymore and I don't need it" I angrily hiss, avoiding his eyes.
"Now let go of the fucking door and sit down Alexander" I order, pointing to a random chair. Alexander quietly let's go of the door and walks over to the chair I pointed at, somewhat resembling a toddler who just got punished. His arms angrily crossed and his face pulled in an offended look. I roll my eyes, how can I make him pay for the childish behavior. I do have that one thing, but I'm not sure if that would hurt me too. Whatever, I need him to feel the hurt I feel for just two seconds "So
Washington, did I tell I'm pregnant again" I innocently ask walking over to the tall man, Washingtons blue-gray eyes go from third-wheeling to joy. He is always so happy when Alex and I get another child, even though he doesn't have any of his own. I hear Alex sharply inhale behind me, serves him right. "I was thinking about the name Friedrich, Fred for short if it's a boy. What do you think" I ask the redheaded man, smirking to myself. Washington nods, awkwardly looking at Alexander behind me "Don't I get a say in that too" Alexander suddenly roars behind me. "I'll give you two a minute" Washington quickly excuses himself and basically runs out of the room. I turn around to face at Alexander, keeping my gaze on his nose instead of his eyes.
"I'm sorry" I ask, raising my eyebrow. "Don't I get a say in our child's name" he repeats, trying to catch my eyes. I casually lean against a random desk, taking my time to study my nails. "Well, did I get a say in you publishing that document" I simply state, flicking a peace of dirt from under my right pointy finger. "We're playing this game now, are we" Alexander threadedly asks. I get up from the desk and walk towards the exit "Guess we are" I emotionlessly state, flipping him off behind my back. "Don't forget that I technically own you Deborah" Alexander suddenly throatily warns, I freeze in my tracks and turn around. He did not just say that, I roll my hand into a fist "I am not owned by anyone Alexander. I will kill myself before I let a man control me" I yell, I lift my fist, he flinches. Alexander retains his posture fast and I almost punch him, but then decides he isn't worth my punches.
"Just so you know Alexander. All the things you say right now makes it a lot easier for me to ban you from my heart" I croak out, letting my arm slowly fall back down. Alexanders expression completely changes, he goes from stubbornly angry to painedly sad. "I'm sorry Deborah" he apologizes and reaches over to my shoulder, I take a step back and shake my head. "No Alexander, that isn't enough." I state, my tears suddenly stopping. I turn around and walk out of the room, waiting outside for the rest of the treasuries, Washington and Madison to arrive. I left the door on a little opening and I can see Alexander trough it. He is sitting on top of a desk and is resting his head in one hand, his shoulders are shaking softly. Fuck, why is my heart pinging, he should be crying. Thomas and Madison approach the room and I make the split decision to save Alexander the embarrassment of those two seeing him like that.
"Hey Madison and Jefferson. How are you guys" I practicallyyell, moving in front of the door opening. "We're fine Hamilton, thank you. Howare you" Madison politely replies, while Jefferson rolls his eyes. "I'm alsogood thank you. Nice weather today isn't it" I ask, leaning against the closeddoor. "Yeah, particularly the clouds are mov.." Madison starts, cut off byJefferson loudly groaning. "Come on James, you're boring me. Let's just goinside" he groans again, Madison smiles politely. Apparently waiting for me tomove, which will not happen "Could you move out of the way please. "Madisonasks me. "From where" I fake confusedly asks. "Oh for gods sake. Move Hamilton"Jefferson quite rudely pushes me aside. Welp, I guess Alexander had bettercomposed himself in the time I saved him. I turn around to go into the room, myeyes search for Alexanders. I find him standing casually on a desk, lookingsmugly as ever. No trace of tears or sadness to be found on his face.
