•It was so beautiful, my life was so beautiful at this moment. I could hear the music playing below me in the distance and these ugly yellow tunnel lights around me really were so blindingly beautiful against the city scape in the distance and here...
"Chloe can you arrange the shampoos on display?" Mom asked me as she brought in a box of shampoo bottles.
"Yep. Hey Naya can you please finish cleaning the wash station?" I asked Naya as she walked in after having just finished fixing the cash register.
She sighed and grabbed the bleach and detergent from me.
"Cmon we're almost done. Then we can go eat all together." I said before Alex and Tessa walked in with bags of Chick-Fil-A.
"No need to wait. We have it all!" Alex said enthusiastically. They both did a little dance and Naya, Mom and I gathered around the food.
"Yes, I'm starving!" Naya said and but into her burger. She let out a sigh in delight.
"Thank you girls so much. You shouldn't have done all this for me!" Mom said.
"It's alright, Mrs. Hudson! That's what friends are for." Tess said to her.
"Besides we are almost done now Mom. All w have to do is put out signs across town for your new place and you'll have clients in no time." I said, confidently.
We all ate lunch while chit chatting and finished up all the renovations.
After spraying some febreeze and putting all the cleaning supplies away we all stood at the entrance and admired to new, renovated hair salon. My mom was able to do renovations for her salon to make it more pleasing and welcoming and my friends and I have been spending the last 3 days helping out with wallpaper, installing equipment, moving and decorating.
It's been a hard few days but it was honestly worth it once we saw the end result.
