Jin Ling was quietly walking towards Burial Mounds, trying to create as little attention as possible. When Jin Ling reached the foot of the mountain, he pulled out his compass of evil to further verify if he was at the correct location. Sure enough, it pointed straight forward.

Here we go. Jin Ling thought.

What Jin Ling didn't realize is that he had been secretly watched by Lao Mu and his gang from the bushes.

"That Xiao Qin," one of the gang members proclaimed. "She doesn't help her own people, instead lets a stranger do the work. Right, Lao Mu?"

"Humph." Lao Mu said,  "*螳螂捕蝉,黄雀在后"

"Follow him, now!" Lao Mu continued.

As Jin Ling walked along the route, he was thinking about what he was going to experience on this journey. Suddenly, Jin Ling heard a growl. He quickly turned to see 4 wolves standing there, their green eyes staring directly into Jin Ling's soul. Jin Ling quickly spawned a talisman to attack the wolves. However, the wolves speed was too fast, and they starting sprinting towards him. Seeing that the situation was getting dire, Jin Ling unsheathed Suihua and starting swinging at the wolves, killing them one by one. After the last wolf was slain, Jin Ling was almost out of breath, and there was blood stained on Suihua's blade. Just when Jin Ling was about to catch his breath, he felt something behind him. He quickly turned around, only to see a cloud of powder explode in his face.

"AHH!" Jin Ling screamed, he could feel the burn on his face. It was the Waving of Qiankun! The Waving of Qiankun had the power to blind a person, no matter how skilled in cultivation they are. Then, Jin Ling heard zombies, hundreds of zombie moans.

This must be the end. Jin Ling thought.

Suddenly, Jin Ling heard something whiz past him. Even though he was blinded, he still turned his head in the direction of the sound by instinct. The moans of the zombies then died down. After a while, Jin Ling heard a faint bell in the distance. It seemed to get closer and closer. Although this mysterious person seemed to be a friend, Jin Ling still unsheathed Suihua a little bit to defend himself. Luckily, the blind effect from the Waving of Qiankun was starting to die down, and Jin Ling could see now, only very blurrily though.

Who is this person? Jin Ling thought. And why is he helping me.

Through his blurry vision, he could make out a person, about the same height and age as him. They wore light blue robes, and bangs that swept to one side. Suddenly, he saw his hand extend out, almost as if he wanted to hold Jin Ling's hand.
