Emily was sitting at the seat she was usually at for briefings at the round table, she was placed right in between Spencer and JJ. All of the other members of the team were around her and were currently chatting quietly amongst themselves as they sat patiently awaiting for the other two agents arrival.

Emily wasn't engaged in any of the conversation around her considering the fact that she couldn't stop thinking about Aurora. She didn't know why her head was already filled with thoughts of the blonde agent, they had only just met a few minutes ago. They hadn't even spoken two words to each other and Emily has already completely lost herself in those big blue eyes. Emily shook her head as if to clear the etch-a-sketch that was in her brain as Aurora walked in quickly and sat down right across from Emily. Aurora gave a quick and tight-lipped smile before pulling her notebook out of her bag and starting to scribble in it. The action making Emilys cheeks warm and she looked down at the file in front of her so that hopefully no one would notice. JJ then walked her way to the front of the room and started to present the case to the team.

"We are heading to Washington state. A year ago both victims and their vehicles mysteriously disappeared," JJ started as she waved the remote to the TV in her hand as she spoke to accentuate her point.

"They were found over 200 miles away in the remote woods of Idaho. Courtney Jacobs, 24, and Shane Everett, 25." JJ continued to speak as she pressed a button and pictures of young women flashed on the screen. "Autopsy revealed similar entry and exit wounds through the chest."

"Ballistics?"

"No bullets were found," JJ responded quickly, the media liaison was always quick to answer the teams questions when asked. It was almost as if she knew the question someone was about to ask her before they actually asked it, she was always a few steps ahead. She has to be with her job.

"It looks like they were out for a pretty long time before they were actually killed," Aurora spoke loudly and with great confidence, everyone looked over to her.

"I agree, at least 6-7 days," Spencer looked at Aurora and nodded with a thin smile, he wanted to make sure the woman felt validated and welcome to the team, and he could already tell she was very intelligent, so the task would probably be easy.

"Then what happened during that whole week?"

"I don't even want to know."

"Look at the way they're dressed. Women don't just voluntarily go into the woods dressed like that," Aurora said.

"Yeah, neither did this man," JJ spoke before another picture popped onto the screen. "Found yesterday with similar wounds, there is still no ID." Everyone looked around at each other for a split second before Hotch spoke.

"Penelope can you look for missing persons in Washington?" he asked and looked over to her.

"Oh captain my captain you insult me greatly," Penelope replied before she sat down and opened her laptop and started typing away furiously.

"Look everywhere. We don't know where this victim came from, we only know where he ended up," Hotch said and nodded at her before looking away.

"Kills both males and females," Rossi mumbled.

Aurora spoke up again, "The victims were found with their clothes on, no degradation or experimentation. It doesn't look like he's interested in either." The rest of the team nodded in agreement.
