CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

When Aurora came to her senses she couldn't remember what had happened at first. She was confused and disoriented, when Auroras eyes slowly opened she began to remember being hit in the head when she felt the pain. Aurora groaned as she felt the throbbing pain in the back of her head, starting at the top of her scalp and running all the way down her neck. She let out a deep breath as she dropped her head to the back of her neck and then rolled it to the side. Her neck was weak and her vision was blurry, she couldn't really make out anything in the room quite yet, mostly just generic shapes. She squinted and looked around the room trying to retain any helpful piece of information about where she was being held. Her arms were chained so tightly behind her that she already knew she would have dark blue and black bruises from them and she couldn't get them to move at all, moving them just made everything hurt worse. Her feet were tied around the legs of the chair just as tightly.

Just my luck, Aurora thought to herself as she brought her chin to her chest to stretch out the back of her neck, Almost kiss super hot girl twice, gets kidnapped. My life is so fucked sometimes.

A loud bang could be heard above her and loud stomping footsteps getting closer and closer to Auroras body. She saw the short bald man that she remembered to be Dr. Middleton, the man from the morgue, come out of the shadows and place various weapons on the table beside her. She rolled her eyes but didn't speak, she knew from the first moment she met this guy that something was weird about him. Spencer had known too, he's going to be so mad when he realizes his hunch about how inappropriate this man was, was correct.

She drops her head down so that she wouldnt have to focus on all the pain she was probably going to have to go through at this moment. So she didn't have to focus on what he was going to do to her, how she was going to feel, what memories this was going to bring back. But of course, Middleton didn't like that, he wanted Aurora to watch his every movement, he wanted her attention on him and only on him. He ran over to her and grabbed her tightly by the jaw yanking her chin up to meet his eyesight, "You will watch everything I do, you will watch me plan the hell im going to put you through and you're going to like it. Understand?" He spoke slowly and his tone was laced with venom. He wasn't at all acting like the nervous timid man at the morgue.

When Aurora didn't answer she received a quick slap across the face which she didn't react to. After everything that happened when she was a kid, a slap really wasn't all that painful to her anymore. Her mouth filled with a metallic taste and she spit to the side of her watching as red liquid came out of her mouth and landed on the floor, blood. She could feel the blood dripping out of her mouth and down her chin, laughing ever so slightly she looked back to Middleton with a smirk to show she wasn't intimidated by him.

"I said do you understand?" Middleton repeated.

"Yes I understand," Aurora said with an eye roll. She knew she should probably lay back on the sarcastic remarks but if she was going to die she was gonna die a snarky bitch. She was too stubborn to do what someone else asks her to do, especially a short white man that she obviously has no respect for. If she was going to go down, she was going down with a fight, she frankly didn't quite care if she was acting smart.

Middleton walked back over to his table and grabbed a long knife off of it. He ran his finger over the blade slowly and smiled to himself before coming back over to Aurora. He took it and ran the sharp side down the side of her jaw, only enough to scrape, not enough pressure to draw any actual blood. He then cut aggressively down the front of her shirt, ripping all the buttons off of her blouse and it showed the very top of her lacy bra. Aurora winced slightly.
