Auroras apartment
7:15 A.M.

It's been the full nine days that Emily was looking after Aurora and for the most part it went smoothly. Aurora had intense nightmares nearly every single night she was there but Emily was quick to calm her down with hugs and kisses on the forehead, wiping her tears with the back of her hand and whispering encouraging words into her ear.

Sometimes even just the touch of Emily would calm Aurora down in her sleep, which definitely boosted Emilys ego, but she would never tell Aurora that. Aurora would be tossing and turning in an intense seeming nightmare when Emily would just put her arms around the other woman tightly and she would stop moving around almost instantly. When Auroras eyebrows were still scrunched and her face looked pained and stressed from the nightmare, a few kisses on her nose, cheeks, and forehead relaxed the woman's face immediately. Emilys heart melted knowing that even subconsciously she was Auroras comfort place.

Aurora was supposed to go back to work today which Emily is extremely nervous about. Emily had been talking about how bad of an idea it was for Aurora to go back to work already nonstop, to which Aurora ignored because three weeks had always been the allotted time period of her absence, plus she was ready to make her big entrance back to the BAU.

Bright and early on Monday morning Auroras alarm blared through the bedroom and she got up slowly leaning over to kiss the side of Emilys head, "Wake up Emily." Emily groaned in response and didn't even try to wake up whatsoever, Aurora had known before this time spent together that Emily was not a morning person, but this experience had only brought her to a new level of realization about how much Emily truly hated getting up in the mornings. Aurora laughed at the woman but got up anyways to get herself ready for work.

Aurora walked into her closet and looked around to try to find her first day back at work outfit. She had a bit of a sense of deja vu as she was reminded of her first day at the BAU just two short months ago, it feels like it's been so long, and so much has happened in her life since she started there. She has a new family that she would die for, she has her Emily, she feels sentimental just thinking about it.

She grabbed her cream colored turtleneck and beige colored puffy pants, she also put a thick black belt around her waist to accessorize her outfit. She went to her bathroom and fixed up her hair and makeup, pausing temporarily to pull the long neck of her turtleneck to see the faded bruises around her chest and throat. She frowned but shook her head as if it was an etch-a-sketch and cleared the negative thoughts from her head. She walked back out of her bathroom to see Emily had not even slightly moved from her spot on the bed.

Aurora laughed and moved over to her side of the bed before jumping on top of the woman and Emily grunted at the sudden impact, Aurora leaned down with a smile and grabbed the sides of the woman's face peppering her entire face with quick kisses

Emily slowly opened her eyes and smiled at the blonde woman on top of her, "You know I would have woken up a lot quicker if you would've started with that." Emily said with a small smile and Aurora grinned before giving her one final and long kiss on her lips, after she moved off of Emily and sat next to her. Emily looked up and the woman and went in to kiss her again but Aurora put a finger to her lips.
