He knocks on the door, and an older woman enters the door.
"So you're my husband's best friend. He's told me so much about you. Too bad he's not around. Come in, though the house is a bit of a mess, I apologize. "
"Well he has a stable job compared to me, so it kinda adds up."
"That's what I get for choosing to be a housewife. Though it gets, awfully lonely. If only I had someone to help me alleviate that pain."
"I catch your drift." He guided her to the couch, and started giving her a neck massage, her slowly getting relieved and alleviated of the tension.
"You know, you can always go deeper."
"Actually, I think I see the problem." Then she found herself drifting into sleep.
"Why don't you rest for a bit, I'll take care of everything here."
She was equally intrigued and frightened as to what was going to happen next. An hour later, she woke up, incredibly surprised at the spotless house.
"You cleaned the house while I was asleep?"
"My roommate was always pretty messy, and hey, doing it all on your own can get tiring. A family that cleans together feels more clean together."
Then she planted a quick kiss on his lips.
"Um, mamam, with all do respect, I would never do that to your husband."
"Fufufu. That's a kiss of thank you, I'm still madly in love with my husband. But as compensation," grabbing a paper and some notes, handing it to him. "Here's a list of some of the single women around the block. Keep that honestly, and you may find yourself with someone after all. I hope you're as nice to them as you were to me.
"Kindness is its own reward. We all need it, don't we?"
"The world could use more kindness, especially from men"
"That's all we can do, can't we?"
"Good boy. At least I know my husband is in good company."
