When I finished cooking, I woke up the boys, we ate and walked to Kev's truck.
"Sooo, we taking you to the hospital?"
"No, school. Come on"
"Toni, you're not fine"
"Dude, let's not be late"
"Fine. If you can walk in a straight line without falling, spinning or limping. We won't go to the hospital" He said with his arms crossed as he leaned on the hood of Kev's truck.
"Fine" I huffed
I let go of Kevin's arm and stood up as straight as I could. I took one wobbly step followed by 3 more. I felt my head start to spin but I REALLY have to get to school, I need to stop by the store too. I take a deep breath, stood up straight again and walked. It hurt to, but I did.
Kev clapped for me and Fangs just scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Make sure you stop at the store"
Me: Morning babe, do you have any cravings?
Cece🥰: Yes, omg takis pweasee🥺
Me: of course, I'll bring them to school.
Cece🥰: You're the best ❤️
We pulled up at the store. I quickly hopped out and ran inside to get her takis, and those dry ass cookies she loves, I got back in the truck with 6 minutes to get to school.
When we got there I saw her bus pulling in, I waited by the door for her
"Good morning beautiful"
"Hi Toni" she giggled.
"Your takis, and cookies."
"Thank you bubba, I love y-" She cut herself off
I wanted to say it back, because I think I love her. She makes me so happy, I absolutely adore her. And she actually cares for me, whenever I have a bad day she'll let me talk to her about it while she massages my head.
"I love-"
"Come on Toni!" SweetPea yelled
"What?!"
"Chill dude, coach wants us in the gym...It's basketball season girly"
"Oh"
"Well I'll see you later Cece." I kissed her and ran to the gym, coach just told us that we'd have to get back into the groove of going to practice and all that.
