Toni POV:

I just woke up from me and Celia's nap and it's 5 PM

I'm going to make her some food just in case her mother hasn't calmed down she can lock herself in her room and still have something to eat.

I sneak out of bed and make chicken legs and fried rice.
I ate some myself and waited for Celia to wake up. When she woke up she came out of my room wearing my clothes

"I smell food"
She said sleepily, making me laugh

"Yeah I made chicken and rice"

"Love that" she said pecking my lips and turning to the stove

"Expecting someone?"

"Nope, made extra for you to take home"

"Thank you and I probably should get going soon."

"Sadly"

It was time to take Celia home, so we got on my bike shared her AirPods and drove carefully into her neighborhood. We got off my bike, I gave her back her AirPod as I was walking her up to her house. Before I could even get to the porch the door flew open. And I was met with her mother looking very angry.

"Hello Mrs-"

Before I could finish, she grabbed Celia's arm and pulled her up the porch stairs

"Careful!"
I said grabbing her arm

"Let her go Antoinette"

"Don't hurt her!"

"I'm not going to! Now be quiet before you cause a commotion."

"Ok, just please don't hurt her. Or stress her out, I don't know much about babies but I'm sure stress won't help"

"See! This is exactly why you shouldn't be a parent. And this baby is the devils doing"
Is she actually crazy?

"Mom don't say that!"

"It's true. Antoinette being the devil and that baby being the devils spawn"

"Can we talk about this inside?"

"You're never stepping foot in my house again!"

"Mom-"

"Hush! You won't be coming back here anymore. You won't talk to me or my daughter, you won't come back here, you'll go to school, go home, go to work I don't care but you won't be coming back here!"

"But t-this is my baby too"

"I don't care. Let's go Celia"

"Mom please!"
She cried, getting herself out of her mothers hold and running to me.

"Please don't leave me, Toni. Don't leave me with her."

"I won't."

Her mom came over with a wooden bat. I thought she was trying to hit Celia so I covered her head and turned my back to face her mother. But when I felt a terrible pain in my leg, I screamed. I let go of Celia and collapsed, holding onto my leg. Wincing in pain and rolling around. I got back up, limping my way over to her mother who was grabbing Celia's arm and pulling her into the house. I was not going to let this happen.
