Toni's POV

I was sitting on my new throw pillows I'd gotten for my couch as Cheryl did my hair. Personally, I don't understand why the couch pillows are called throw pillows if you're not supposed to throw them but whatever. I got the throw pillows about a month ago when I renovated basically my whole apartment to get ready for the baby that is coming any day now.

"Uh Cheryl?"

"Yeah babe?"

"How'd I get this question wrong?" I asked, looking at my homework on my lap.

"I wrote why it's not right on the second sheet of paper you gave me."

I flipped the blank piece of paper I gave her in front of my homework, seeing that the blank sheet had turned into an answer key. Every question I got wrong had the correct way to solve the problem, a short explanation of why I got it wrong and a few words of motivation.

"You're the best, have I ever told you that?" I asked, turning my head to look back at her.

"Maybe a few times" she smiled, leaning in to kiss my lips.

Cheryl and I aren't official but something is telling me we're gonna be girlfriends very soon. My mental health is... well not the best but it's soooo much better than what it used to be. Cheryl's seems to have improved too. And I'm so proud of her. Our mental health was really the only thing stopping us... and the fact that we didn't know each other completely. But now we're closer than Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson.

I pulled away from the kiss and thanked her before looking back at my homework. After about an hour of fixing and solving mind-numbing math equations I was finally done.

"I can't wait to graduate and be done with this" I sighed

"I know you do. But if it makes you feel any better I'll be here for you the whole time." She said as she continued to braid my hair.

"Thanks babe, it means a lot to me"

"Of course"

We continued our small talk for a while as we watched Personal Injury court on YouTube, until Cheryl told me she was done with my hair. We got up and walked to the bathroom to look in the mirror.

"Okayyyy, third times a charm." I said, looking at my fresh box braids.

"I didn't even notice you snuck a pink strand in there"

"How could I not? It's iconic"

"Cheryl you really killed that. It honestly looks so good. I'm proud of how much you've improved."

"Thanks T and thank you for being my model as always"

"When you make me look this good it's hard to say no" I smiled, looking at her through the mirror

"Toni, will you do me a favor?" She asked seriously

"Yeah, what's up?"

"It's just that I don't have any pictures of my makeup work. Well besides on myself but I don't have anyone else to model for me... so I was wondering if you'd let me do your makeup. And I know you're not fully in touch with your feminine side so if you don't want to I could get Kevin or someone else if you say no. Or like, if you don't like the idea of makeup at all I don't have to do it. Like, you could just do my makeup instead or something. Or-"

"Cheryl, hey calm down" I said before kissing her lips as a final resort to stop her nervous rambling.

"Yeah?"
