The four finally met, Alex and Rey walked towards where the smiling couple stood, Alex looked at Rey, giving her a confused look, nevertheless a smile took over her, she smiled at his best friend, finally seeing him laughing like this after a long time. Rey smiled as well, she always wanted happiness for Kate, seeing his Shawn can maybe give her that made her incredibly happy.

The laughing couple noticed their tie best friends coming towards them, skipping, they both made their way to them. "Hello!" Kate greeted them with a smile "Took you long enough" Shawn let a smirk towards Alex, wiggling his eyebrows towards the two, making Alex roll her eyes, slapping him, while Kate let a soulful laughter. Rey looked more confused than before, noticing this Alex shook her head, telling her they have went insane, yet she couldn't fight the smile creeping on her face. "Let's go losers!" Rey said before walking towards their car, making every protest about what she said "Hey! Even me?" Alex asked pounting, or trying to pount "Whatever you are doing with your face please stop it you are ugly" Shawn looked disgusted by Alex, making everyone laugh.

They started to walk towards the cars, Alex tailing behind them as the three went on laughing about something, she turned around glancing at the building, she looked into the fourth floor, her pierce gaze catching the two fathers.

While the four drove away, the two fathers stood watching them. Watching Alex look at their window, making the general let out a laugh, his daughter was good, better than he ever thought. "Isn't it cruel to take this away?" David Santiago walking towards the sofa, sitting down, he let out a troubled breath "How can I do?" He asked again, not expecting an answer "It is. This girls have given their lives for us yet now when they have their own we are taking it away" The general smiled sadly, thinking about how much Alex has given, how she was never asked to, yet she showed so much bravery that he never could. "Maybe there is another way after all" In David's voice a certain determination was shown, "There are only two ways for you and none for me my friend" the general let out a bitter laugh.

"Remember when they were younger"  David smiled, brightening the atmosphere that became so dull "When they first met?" He asked eagerly making the general let out a smile of joy remember the old memories "Alex was only free years training back than she looked fierce never letting her guard down but one day this crying girl came she lost her father she said" the smile on the fathers grew wilder "She took Rey pointing towards where I was, she probably thought she was done yet Rey sticked to her the whole day" David smiled as he finished the story "That was the first day and last I saw my girl being a child" the same sad smile found it's way back to his face, "We ruined them". The two fathers bid their goodbyes quickly yet still with no conclusions to what they will do.

The sun was beaming its lights up in the blue sky, families, friends, children, old couples but young ones too, all out playing in the sun. The kids ran without a care in the world, chasing each other as they softly played on the grass. Families having picnic on the grass, eating while laughing together. Frineds gossiping about everything in their sight. A group of four doing the same.

"I am telling you they are his children" Kate whispered yelled looking at two young boys across them, both in their 20s. "No way!" Rey yelled back, still not believing what her best friend is saying "I am right!" Kate yelled in frustration "But they look normal" everyone looked at Rey, questioning faces staring at her "What?" She innocently asked making Shawn and Kate burst into laughter, Alex smiled at her, thinking how cute she looks like this, her smile grew bigger and wider the more she looked at the beauty before her. "What did you think they will look like?" Kate managed to ask, her laughter choking her words at the end "I dont know" Rey pounting said, looking at them "Maybe to have a bigger heads, or toads" the three roared with laughter, making Rey to laugh as well.

They were finally calm, whipping their tears away "But am I wrong? Their father is a self absorbed misogynist who is uglier than a toad"  the group once again burst out into laughter, Kate shook her head.

The dry sun made them crave ice cream, splitting into two groups they walked towards the ice cream stand down the peer. Kate and Shawn walked before the two girls, walking faster to leave the two behind them, alone, and to spend time with the other.
"This is nice" Kate smiled at the comment of the dark haired boy, agreeing with him "We should do it again" Kate nervously asked, looking down when she didnt hear an answer from the other. The sound of the waves crashing into the rocks below them was the only thing heard along the chatter of the people around them. "But next time just the two of us" Kate lifted her head, smiling at the boy, her cheeks with a tint of redness across them.

The two walked behind them, walking comfortably into silence enjoying each others companies as they walked closer to the water. "You really are a fun person to be around to" Rey smiled as she looked down to the slightly shorter girl. Alex turned around, a small smile spreading across her lips as she watched her crush smile wider before her "Ah" gasping she placed her hand on her chest "You thought I was boring". Rey started to panic "No no!" She kept shaking her head, panicking that she offended her "Ah duly noted I will try to be not so boring next time than" Alex smirked as she watched the girl panic before her, yet a smile found its way as Rey heard the words 'next time'.

"Guys wait up!" Alex yelled as she started to run towards the two "Rey thinks I am boring I dont wanna be here anymore!" She yelled smiling. They started to chase her while the two stopped in their tracks confused at what is happening "No! I didn't say that!" Rey yelled as she ran after Alex.
