She was gone

Shawn POV

For the past 24 hours I have prayed I have cried asked myself why am I not in her place right now. Why I didn't safe her this time. I cussed myself why I didn't ran in the building why I didn't do as she would done in my place. I watched as the doctors were going in and out of the operating room every time I would asked them was she okay they would only look down.

I just couldn't take it anymore I went out I looked up at the sky and wished the stars to change the past I wished the stars to change the present I wished for the stars to change the future I wished to be on her place.

Rein started to pour down the ground, someone called my name, I turned around, an agent was calling he said that is over that she is gone I started to run not believing what he said as I came to her room I saw everyone crying I saw doctors leaving her room all with tears in their eyes I froze didn't know what to do. I looked in her room saw her lifeless body lying on the bad. Tubes pulled from her the monitor that showed the flat line from her heart was getting shot. I ran in her room hugged her beg her to wake up to not leave me to take me with her I beg the god to take me instead to leave her. Today it was supposed to be one happy day her crush would spent the day with her it was not supposed to end like this we needed to grow old together to fell in love but no she left me alone her body was getting cold it felt as I was hugging a stone and not her I kissed her forehead, I showered her with tears, the only thing that was heard was the monitor beeping. I looked out of the window, looked at the sky, I beg it to sent angels to bring her back. I put my head down on her chest, realizing that she was gone and no angel, would bring her back. As my head was on her chest I heard her heart how it started to beat again the monitor was showing how the line was getting high it showed how her life was getting back in her I called the doctors they rushed to her started to check her up. After couple minutes they said that her heart is beating again they said that it is not over they said that she is alive we all cheer smile and hugged each other I looked out the window I saw that the rain stopped purring down I smiled as I realized that the sky was crying too. It open itself and showed us that a great sole was gone now it didn't cry because she was back to us. I thanked the sky and the angels that it sent to bring her back to us I smiled set next to her waiting for her to wake up.

I felt someone shake me I opened my eyes and saw the general in front of me "Shawn go home sleep eat and go to school when she wakes up I will call you first" "I am sorry sir but she is my partner and my best friend with all respects I am not leaving her" I said to him and looked at her she still had tubes down her throat "I know that you love her and that she is your partner but if she was awake she would sent you to school" I slightly smiled thinking about her telling me to go to school. I stood up from the chair "Any changes at all you need to call me and I will call every hour to check her" he smiled at me and nodded his head. As I was passing through out the door I looked into the glass and saw myself my eyes were filled with saddens my skin was as white as it gets I looked at the sky and it was gray the color remained me of me it was as the sky was grieving for her.

I was finally at home I went to my room to take a shower and to get some sleep. When I woke up it was only 5 am so I went to eat when I entered the cafeteria only couple people were there I was just released that no one come to talk with me. I quickly eat and got dressed to go to the hospital and to go school.

I got in one of the cars and headed to the hospital. I took food and cafe for the general because he didn't come home yesterday. I entered her room and it was empty I put the food and the cafe on the table I sat next to her bed took her arm. Someone opened the door I turned around and it was the general I stood up out of respect "I bought you food and coffee it is on the table" "Thank you agent. Her condition is the same you can go I will call you if something is change" I squeezed her arm for the lest time before I went out.

I was at school I saw my friends but I didn't go to them I just couldn't talk right now I only could think about her. The first class went by fest I didn't even listen to the teacher she was on my mind. As I was going to my second class Rey come up to me "Hey Shawn can I ask you something?" "Yeah whatever you need" "Can you tell me how is she I didn't saw my dad this morning" "She is in coma the doctors don't know when she will wake up" her face felt down I saw saddens in her eyes she open her mouth to say something but my phone went off "Excuse me" I saw the id and it was the general I quickly answer the phone "General is everything okay? Is she alright?" My heart was beating so fast I needed to know what is going on "Yes agent she is okay I am calling you to tell you that she is awake and..." "I am on my way" I didn't even let him finish before I ended the call "Is everything alright?" Rey asked me I forgot that she was next to me "Yes she is awake I am going to the hospital" "That is great" she said with the biggest smile on her face "Would you like to come with me to the hospital?" "I...ugh....I...I don't know ugh would she be ugh okay with me being there" "Yeah she would be really happy with you there" I told her with a smirk on my face "Come on let's not make your Romeo to wait" I smirked and started to woke to my car she was close behind me her head was down I bet she is blushing right now. I just can't wait to see Alex's face when she will see her.

Rey POV

I am blushing so hard what did he mean when he said my Romeo oh my god I went to die right now. I am going to see her again but what will she think when she would see me will she be happy would she ask me to leave?. I was so lost in my mind that I didn't notice that we are in front of his car. After 20 minutes driving we were at the hospital I got even more nerves my heart was beating so fast.

Alex POV

I woke up 30 minutes ago I can't wait to see Shawn. I was talking to me further when the door opened and someone hugged me so hard "Shawn I can't breathe" he let go of me that's the first time I notice that someone is at the door Shawn moved so I can see the person behind him it was her I smiled at her and she come closer "Hi how are you?" I asked her with smile on my face "I should be the one asking you, you are the one in the hospital not me" she had saddens in her voice her eyes showed that she is worried "I am better now that you two are here" I smiled at her and she finally smiled back she and Shawn sat on the chairs that were close to my bed and we started to talk about everything and nothing I at the same time. It was so easy to talk with her.

Rey POV

We talked for about an hour and I could see that she was fighting not closing her eyes "Shawn let's go we still have school and Alex should rest" for a second her eyes showed saddens "Yeah you are right. Alex get some rest after school I am coming back" he hugged her "Thank you both for coming and please visit again I will be here for a long time" she smiled at me and smiled back she was so cute. She tried to lay down but she hissed from the pain Shawn helped her lie and as soon as her head was on the pillow she was asleep. We reached the door when the monitor started to beep loudly we looked at her and she was having a scissor doctors come in her room started doing SPR the nurse said to us to go out of the room we watch the doctors trying to safe her.

After 20 minutes the doctors come out from her room "Miss O'Connell is stable but there is big chance that this will happen again. She needs another surgery but right now she is too weak we need to wait at least 24 hours before we cut her again" "What if she has another scissor?" "Let's pray she doesn't because if she does you should prepare yourself for the worst" He woke away we sat down on the chairs in front of her room.

After hour of waiting my phone rang I picked up without looking the id "Hello" "Rey where are you? You just left school are you okay?" "Yeah I am fine I am at hospital. Do you remember the agent that I was telling you that got hurt I am visiting them" "Oh you are? Okay than bye" I can imagine her smirking I ended the call and sat down next to Shawn "Do you went me to take you home?" "I would like to stay. If that is okay?" "Of course you can stay. You know we can't do anything here so let's go to the small dinner in front of the hospital"

We got up and walked to the dinner in silence. There are not many people inside we sat on one of the tables and not short after a waiter come to take our order "What would you like?" He asked us I looked through the manu "I would like chocolate pancakes with strawberry shake" "Same for me just vanilla shake the waiter left. We sat there in silence it was not awkward but it was not comfortable aether. Our food come and we dig into it. "So how is Tom I haven't seen him this week?" I intensuly asked Rey so I can see her reaction "He... he is okay I guess" "You guess?" "I...I ugh...aa" she was shuttering mess I laughed at her " I know that you are not in love in him"
