You have fallen from your pedestal;
Everyone denounces you a deadbeat;
You lack the motivation to rebound
As you wallow in self-pity,
Wishing this never happened;
You see a way out,
But you don't take it
For fear it's an illusion;
You say you'll never get out,
But know your beliefs influence your actions;
The champions you see in the media,
The ones deemed the best of their breed,
Have endured countless failures
Before earning their respective titles;
You have went through the same;
Now, you must get back up,
Return to your zenith and surpass it.
