I have seen nice people
Whose morals require strict adherence;
They are always happy to help you
To ensure your success,
But there comes a point
They must draw the line;
It shocks you
When you take advantage of them;
You wouldn't believe how frequently
They decipher your motives;
It's their leniency enabling you,
For which you take advantage of;
You reluctantly return the kindness,
Hoping it will cloud their judgement;
It's only a matter of time
Before you feel their wrath;
They say calm waters hit hard,
And that's what nice people are;
They can hurt you
Far more than your brethren.
