The Unexpected Visitor

She saw Steven and she was shocked, he stepped inside and he just hugged her, not even saying anything. "Oh-" Mina jumped in surprise that Steven was hugging her without warning. "I. Am. So. Sorry" Steven stated still hugging her, "For what? Earlier?" Mina asked "No, for everything. For earlier, for me acting like an asshole, for me.. Just everything" Steven said softly "Hey, it's fine. You don't need to apologize, I shouldn't have left. I should've stayed and talked to you" Mina blamed "No.. let's just both agree we messed up" Steven suggested "Deal" Mina replied. Steven came in and hung out with Mina even though he was with her literally a few hours ago. "Why do we do this?" Mina asked looking behind her at Steven, "Do what?" He replied while standing in the bedroom, grabbing his charger "We hang out basically all night but yet we somehow find that to not be enough time" Mina explained "What?" Steven yelled "We were just together til like midnight. But, somehow you're here again like 2 hours later" Mina explained again "Oh, yeah. We are kinda weird" Steven replied "Kinda?" "Fine, really weird" Steven gave in. Steven and Mina just talked for a while, and around 3:30 Mina fell asleep and Steven took her to bed. Steven put her on the bed and covered her up, then went and slept on the couch.

The Next Morning

August 21st

8:10am

"Mm? What, *yawns* where's Steven?" Mina thought to herself, she got up and opened her door and Steven wasn't there, his shoes were. "Steven?" Mina said kinda loud, "This apartment isn't that big, where could he be?" She asked herself "Steven!" She yelled "YEAH!" he responded "Where are you?" She asked from the living room "I'm in here" Steven said, opening the bathroom door, "What are you doing??" Mina asked "Well, I didn't shower last night, so I showered now" Steven replied "You good?" Steven asked "..." "Mina!" Steven yelled "Huh? What?" She jumped "You good?" He asked "Yeah" Mina said, blushing a bit before turning around and walking away. Mina was a bit distracted by Steven, he was dressed but he had forgotten his shirt in the room so he was shirtless and she has never seen him like that before. Mina went and made breakfast and when she checked the time she freaked out. "SHOOT!" Mina exclaimed "What?" Steven replied "We have school!" Mina yelled "Mina.." Steven said stepping out towards her, Mina was packing her bag with books and supplies. "Mina, hey" He said, grabbing her hand, "Mina, mina. Stop, hey. Look at me, MINA!" He yelled and Mina stopped and looked at him "It's August, we don't have school" Steven said calmly "What? Are you sure?" Mina asked "Look" Steven said showing her the date, "Oh, *Exhale*" Mina calmed down. "Are you doing okay?" Steven asked "Uh- Y-yeah. Why?" Mina stuttered "Well, you just stuttered, and you stutter when you are mad, sad or scared. And you just had a mini panic attack" Steven explained "Look, I'm sorry. It's just, everything with Sheldon and school and me and you... " Mina explained "Wait, wait, whoa. What do you mean me and you?" Steven asked "N-Nothing" Mina stuttered.

Steven stood there for a second and tried to figure out what she meant by that, "It has to mean something, or maybe it is nothing" Steven mumbled "What?" Mina asked "Oh, nothing. I'm just thinking" Steven lied kind of. "Well here you go" Mina said handing him a plate of eggs, "Oh thanks" Steven jumped "Yeah" Mina said softly, "Steven?" Mian said turning back around to face him, "Hmm?" He said looking up at her, "Are you okay?" She asked "Yeah?" He said weirdly "Steven." She stated "I'll be right back" Steven said putting his plate down and stepping outside, "The hell was that about?" Mina asked herself.
