Broken Hearts, And Broken Friends

*Knock, Knock* "COMIN!" Mina yelled "Hey!" Mina answered "Hey" Steven said softly "What's wrong?" Mina asked "I don't know. I'm just-thinking" Steven replied "About what" Mina said as Steven walked inside, "I-I don't know"  "Well, wanna talk about it?" Mina asked caringly "No, cause I really don't know what to talk about it" Steven answered sadly, "Oh, come here" Mina said putting her arms out, Steven hugged Mina and Mina could tell Steven was really upset about something. "Dammit" Steven whispered "What?" Mina asked "Nothing" Steven said stepping back, Steven turned around fast and faced the balcony before walking out and leaning over the railing.

"I need you to talk to me" Mina said to herself, "But you won't". Mina walked out and hugged Steven from behind knowing it would help a bit, "Oh!" Steven jumped "Please, please talk to me" Mina begged "Mina-" Steven said, turning around again. "I can't" He replied, putting his hand on her cheek "Why?" Mina asked looking up at him "Cause it's just a waste of time. Cause we have already been over it" Steven explained ''But, I want to talk. No matter what you say, I will understand. You know that" Mina said generously "I appreciate it but- I just- I j-" Steven said tearing up, "Steven, hey" Mina said hugging him, "It's okay, just talk to me" Mina said again "I- just."  He tried to finish "Just what?" Mina insisted "I feel so bad. Cause I feel like he did it cause of me" Steven said crying "Who? Sheldon?" "Yeah, I feel like, if I was there for him more. He would still be here" Steven cried "No, no. Hey, shhh. Hey, it is NOT your fault. It's not, it was his choice. Not ours" Mina explained "I know that. I just wish, I wish I could've helped him" ''You can't do that" Mina said holding Steven, "You can't do that" She repeated "Why not. I deserve it" Steven stated "You deserve none of it. You did nothing wrong" Mina whispered "I understand that I just- I just can't believe it" Steven cried "Shhh, it's okay. You don't have to say anything, I get it. Just calm down, it's okay" Mina said calmly, "I know"

"So, what now?" Mina asked "What?" Steven replied "What do you wanna do now?" Mina finished "I wanna yell, I wanna scream. I wanna yell off this balcony as loud as I can" Steven said "Then do it" Mina insisted "What? I'll wake up the whole neighborhood" Steven stated "My neighborhood is up at the crack of dawn, they won't care. And besides I'm moving in two doors down from you in your apartment building on Friday" Mina explained "A-Are you sure?" Steven asked "Positive" Mina replied "Here, I'll start you off" Mina said walking to the railing. Mina yelled and then Steven yelled even louder not caring at this point. After that fun and loud yelling session Steven stepped back inside and walked to the door, "Hey, hey. No" Mina said grabbing his hand, "What? Mina I have to go home" Steven argued "No you don't, you were here like last week all night and no one cared" Mina argued "That doesn't matter, my mom's gonna freak!" Steven replied "Did she freak last time?" "I mean... No." Steven stated "Then why would she now?" Mina asked "I don't know.." "Then why say that?" Mina asked softly "I just.." Steven stopped "Just what" Mina whispered "I'm just scared" Steven answered "Scared? Scared of what?" "I'm scared that if I stay here, I'm just gonna push you away and hurt you more. To a point where you end up like him. So it's better if I go, so that I have a better chance of not losing someone else tonight, especially not you" Steven explained "ME! What does that-" Mina was cut off by Steven opening the door and walking out,

"No wait- STEVEN! COME BACK! STEVEN!" Mina said, running after him "Hey!" Mina said, grabbing his hand. Steven stopped a few feet from the elevator "Mina, ple-ease, please let me go home" Steven begged "No, Steven. You can't be alone right now" Mina insisted "No, see I'm fine *fake smiles*" "Don't do that" Mina demanded "Do what?" Steven asked "Fake smile, it doesn't help" Mina stated. "Look Mina, I know you are just trying to help me, but I- I'm okay. I just- I jus- can't" Steven said getting upset "Hey" Mina said hugging him again, "I- I'm sorry" Steven stuttered "Don't apologize, you did nothing wrong" Mina said hugging him tighter "Just come back, don't go home tonight. I don't want you alone" Mina begged "Mina I~" "PLEASE!" Mina interupted "Okay, okay. Fine, I'll stay" Steven gave in, "Good, come on" Mina said, grabbing his hand.

A couple hours later Mina and Steven had taken a nap, since they both were tired, Mina woke up and saw Steven hugging her and he was awake, "Hey, are you okay?" Mina asked "Yeah, you just looked cold" Steven said. Mina sat and talked with Steven since she couldn't sleep and her head was too full to sleep, she couldn't sleep properly. "So what now?" Steven asked quietly "I don't know" Mina replied "Well, put this in the "I don't know pile" I guess" Steven joked, Mina giggled at that a little bit since that was an inside joke between them.
