*At the Hospital*
"How is she" Steven said standing up from his chair "She's resting. But.. may I speak to you?" The doctor asked "Yeah, of course" Steven said walking away with the doctor, "Are you aware if Ms.Robinson has any past episodes like this?" The doctor asked "She- She used to have fainting spells when she was younger but she had a medicine for it" Steven explained "Have you seen her take her pills lately" The doctor asked "Uh- Now that I think about it. No" Steven replied "Well, that can be a reason for it. But her main reason is blood loss and exhaustion" The doctor explained "Well, she has been a little restless but she has had enough sleep. At least she wasn't tired" Steven said "And have you seen Mina stressed out lately?" The doctor asked "Yeah. We just lost a friend, she has been really broken up about it. It's all over the news, she's kinda addicted to it" Steven explained "That could be a reason" The doctor added, "Yeah, when can I see her?" Steven asked "Once she gets out of surgery" The doctor said slightly walking away, "Yeah, wait! Surgery?" Steven asked "Yes, were you aware of her wounds?" "No I was. But I didn't think they were that bad" Steven answered "Well, she still had pieces of glass in her arms and legs. They were deep, and if you never brought her here. Who knows what could've happened" the doctor explained "Wow. Well, do you have a phone I could use. I forgot mine and I think her mom would want to know" Steven asked "Of course, there is a phone at the front desk you can use" The doctor advised, "Oh, thanks"
Over Phone
Steven & Samantha
Samantha: Hello?
Steven: Hi Samantha, it's me Steven
Samantha: Oh hi Steven, how are you?
Steven: Not too great. Um- Mina's in the hospital
Samantha: What?
Steven: Yeah, she's in surgery
Samantha: What happened
Steven: Well, Mina was making breakfast. And she dropped a plate and the glass cut her up a bit and she passed out. I got some help and got her fixed up and when she woke up she seemed fine. But-
Samantha: But what?
Steven: When she tried to walk she passed out again and I brought her here. Turns out her wounds are worse than I thought
Samantha: How bad?
Steven: She still have pieces of glass in her arms and in her leg, and her wounds were deep
Samantha: Wow, well. I am on my way. Just stay put and if I am not there when she gets out of surgery call me right away
Steven: Of course
Samantha: Okay, I'll see you soon
Steven: Okay, bye
