The next day, Lando drove Sophia back to her apartment on site of her Mafia base. She hadn't been there in just under a month, as Lando pulled up beside the apartment around the back. He decided to stay in the car, letting her get out herself. Well, actually she s=told him to stay in the car whilst she went inside. Sophia thanked him, they said their goodbyes, and he watched her as she walked up to the small building. She opened the door, but as she went inside, she left it open. She walked through the house, to her fathers room. She opened the door, and leaned against the door frame. The room was neat and tidy, as her father left it. After he died, she didn't dare go in the room. She was too afraid.

Lando is a curious character, which led him to switching off the engine, and going inside. He looked around the living space. He had never been here before, so was wondering all about the place he had seen very little of. He walked through the small apartment, until he saw a door ajar, with a figure leant up against it. Lando approached her, slipping his hands through the gaps between her arms, placing them on her hips. She turned with bloodshot eyes; Lando spun her all the way around, allowing her to bury her face into his neck as he rubbed his thumb up and down her head.

Lando remembered loosing someone he was close to: it broke him, and a burden of guilt followed him in his shadows. He wanted to shut himself from the outside world, but knew one day, that life doesn't stop. One day, he realised what he was doing. He was limiting himself from the life that someone couldn't because they passed too soon. He learnt life is too short, and that we should embrace every single moment. Everything happens for a reason.

A/N: Sorry this is short! I'm working on a new chapter :)
