Meetings with new friends

A/N: just in love with this song to be honest and wanted to share it with you :)

Lando's POV: 

"What are you smiling at?" said Steve, curious as to why my grin grew when I was on my phone. "Oh just Sophia was texting me. She sent a pic of her in a wedding dress," I showed all 3 of them my phone. "Jeez, she looks like a stunner," said Niran. "I know right, she looks gorgeous. I'm lucky to call her mine." They all teasingly punch me in the ribs and hips. It didn't hurt at all, and we all got off the tube and we began to walk to Niran's and Aarava's. "Why were they going wedding dress shopping anyway? I didn't see her have a ring on earlier. Or are you not telling us something massive?" Aarava said, buzzing the intercom to let us in the building of the apartments. "No I haven't asked her to marry me. Apparently it's every girl's dream to go to a wedding dress store and try lots on for fun, never heard of it though." I said, shrugging my shoulders, as Niran grabbed the keys and opened the door to the apartment. "Right, get showered, we'll sort out clothes wise what you'll wear. First of all, have you messaged her dinner details?" Aarava asked, to which I responded with "I need to do that." 

"Would be helpful Norris. I mean her and Ria could probably read minds because those two together scare me." Steve said, making us all giggle. I locked myself in the bathroom, letting the hot pools of water drop against my skin. I thought to myself and told myself I'm lucky. I'm lucky to have the group of friends I made through Quadrant, lucky I had a job that made me well-off financially, lucky to have a roof over my head, and lucky to have Sophia as my future Mrs Norris. 

Aarava's POV: 

Today was one of, if not the best day I've had in a long time. It was the first time we did a real life quadrant shooting, which was so much fun, mainly because I could actually see other people. It was just amazing to see everyone so happy, and not see someone through a computer screen. It was also great to meet Sophia for the first time. I've seen her on Lando's streams, and knew something was going on between the two of them, but didn't know what. We all sat on the sofa whilst Lando was freshening up and then we all began talking about Lando's relationship with Sophia. "You know I want them to get married." said Steve out of the blue. "Who?" me and Niran questioned in sync. "You know, Sophia and Lando. They clearly love each other very much and this is the first time I've seen Lando like this in forever I guess. I just hope it works out for them in the end, because they both deserve it." Me and Niran nodding in agreement. Then we got a message from Lando to the Quadrant group chat.

Quadrant

Lando: Thanks for today guys, was super fun!

Sophia and me were thinking 

We're going to a club after dinner if you wanna come? 

Steve: hell yeah, it'll be cool for us to go out together

Me: count me in

Niran: got to get this dead trim a hat, but I'm down. 

Ria: Will be so much fun! Been ages since I've been out out 

Lando: Alright that's fine, I'll tell you guys the details once I'm ready and I'll message you details Ria :)

Me: Thanks Lando, seriously 

Lando: No problem! Me and Sophia wanted you all to come anyway 

Lando came out of the bathroom after a while, and we thanked him for inviting us out. We all decided to get ready, apart from Steve, who was going home to grab some clothes and drop off Lando on the way. 

Ria's POV: 

"Ria do you mind doing my makeup? I don't care what you do with it, just make me look like I have slept, even if I've had so much sleep the past few nights." A giggle left my mouth, as I finished her Smokey eyes and began to curl her hair. She got changed into her dress: it was a dark blue silk dress, with long lace sleeves, and her shoulders exposed. She also put in her handbag a shirt white dress with a denim jacket and some nude healed boots to change into when we would go clubbing afterwards. She looked stunning, and it took us a good few hours to get ready and take Instagram pics. Lando's dinner reservation was for 6, and the time was now 5:45pm, so we decided to start walking, as the sun began to set. It was windy this morning, but in the afternoon, the sky's cleared and the sun was beaming in the sky. I dropped her off, as we hugged, making sure no makeup or hair was ruined, and I left back to my apartment to go and get ready for the squad's night out. 

Sophia's POV: 

It reminded me of the first dinner we had back in Monaco. The dimly lit candles that littered all the tables in the restaurant gave me a sweet aroma, as I spotted Lando from afar. He came up to me, as I flung my arms around his neck, pulling him into my lips. He grabbed my leg and wrapped in around his waist, and as we pulled away he dropped it. He generally looked speechless at me. "Ok, you look stunning my love," he said, as he kissed my hand from the opposite side of the table, "Please tell me you didn't rent that or anything because you're my plus 1 to the Autosport awards after Abu Dhabi. I also invited your mum, my trainer, my family, and Ria, Steve, Niran and Aarava." 

"Yes I bought it, and I guess I could clear my schedule if I ask my boss nicely. She say's it's ok and she's free," I said, making him laugh. After dinner and talking about our day, we got a taxi to the club we were meeting the Quadrant guys at. So we clambered in the back of the taxi, and I began to change. It's a good job they had tinted windows so you couldn't see in. Lando helped me out of my dress, and into my new one, and I was in my different outfit within no time. I messaged Ria, saying we left and would be another 5 minutes, and I checked Instagram. The 4 of the quadrant gang had requested to follow me, and I didn't think twice about clicking the 'accept' button. The car slowed, indicating we arrived, as we payed the driver and got out. Near the entrance stood the 3 guys and Ria, and we all went into the loud club after we greeted each other. I needed the bathroom, so did Ria, so we went into the room of cubicles together. Then Ria slipped something under my door. I picked it up and knew exactly what it was. "RIA!" I shouted, and she laughed. "That's if you need it," she replied, winking as we left the bathrooms and went back to the dance floor. "We can take photo's later, but now I need to dance." I said, as the music beat drop was approaching. Lando looked me in the eyes, as he tucked one of the curls behind my ears, His eyes glistened, and then he kissed me, for a lengthy time. "Now we can dance," he laughed it off, as he dragged me to the others and into him. We stayed for a few hours, and we didn't actually get too drunk, I don't drink much and Lando isn't a fan of alcohol either. So we left, saying goodbye and we went home. When we got home, we shuffled into the house. All I will say is what happened in that house that night, stays in that house.
