The day came by. I woke up from my slumber, trying not to move or disturb Sophia. I quickly put on some gym clothes, and met the guys, and their girlfriends, all downstairs. "Why did you get us all up at ridiculous o'clock in the morning?" complained Kelly, as Max hit her shoulder playfully. "I told you Lando would tell you." All sets of the girl's beady eyes were now on me. "You didn't tell them yet?" I whisper-shouted to Max, to which he held his hands up. "Not my news to tell." I let out a sigh before telling them. "I'm proposing to Sophia." A gasp left their lips, and Kelly was the first one to talk. "You're what now?" Lily then muttered "It's too much news in for this early in the morning." Hannah was next to comment. "How- What-When- HUH?" After they all calmed down a bit, they figured out not to tell Sophia, as we went to leave for our 'jog'.
We didn't have to walk very far to find the store in the nearest town. A rustic sign post pointed towards the rather luxurious building, as all of us went inside. A women came up to ask us if we needed any help, to which we politely declined. I saw so many rings these past couple of weeks, and I knew what I wanted. We were all aimlessly wondering around the store as a glimmer from my left caught my eye. It was beautiful. A silver band, decorated with small coloured stones lined the outer edge, and the claw held a singular diamond. It was perfect. "Guys," I called them over, as they all gathered around me. "I think I've found the one," I breathed a little laugh, as they all stared at it with awe. "The gems round the outside I think I would put amethyst, because it's her birthstone. You know, personalise it a bit." Yuki's eyes were wide, like a child stood in front of a massive sweet store, as Esteban towered over most of us, patting me on the back. Once we bought it, we took a detour to the ocean before running back up towards the house. As we walked into the kitchen, and I saw her reading her card, sat at the counter. "Happy 1 year mi amour," I walked over, as she leapt over to me, to give me a kiss and a massive hug. As she came over, I kept the bag behind my back, and Lewis got the memo to grab it and take it, hiding it behind his back. "I love you, but go and have a shower, you all smell of sweat," she laughed, as I quickly pecked her lips again, before wondering upstairs to the bathroom. We all followed each other, splitting into separate rooms, as the bag passed from person to person before it reached me. I quickly shut our bedroom door, before placing the bag deep under the bed, and grabbed some new clothes to spend the day in. I listened to some music whilst in the shower, briefly interrupted by a notification, and I made a mental note to check that before I went downstairs. My hair was messy, as I quickly ran a towel through the locks to make sure they were dry enough, and quickly unlocked my phone to see what notification I had
