She climbed the golden staircase to her room, being escorted by men in black suits. As she approached the room, the men left her side: she insisted she would make her own way up but her business partner was having none of it. She entered the room with a swipe of her key card, and it instantly took her breathe away. It was much more beautiful than she expected, with the pearl white w]marble floors, gold trimming lining the walls, and a chandelier that dangled from the beautifully textured ceiling. She also enjoyed the fact she had a king sized bed all to herself, as well as her own catering kitchen, lounge and balcony. After unpacking all her belongings, she made her way outside onto the balcony, which provided a view of the city. She looked in awe as all the buildings lit up like fairy lights dancing in the sky, as the light glistened off the harbour waters. She grinned at herself, knowing that she'd managed to persuade her business partner to meet here, although he was rather keen for her to come. She was mesmerised by the setting sun and the slow rising moon, when a knock interrupted her thoughts.
"Come in", she yelled, totally fixated on the outside world. She didn't want to leave this place to see who it was. Due to her zoning out, she completely forgot someone was there, until a hot warm breathe was felt on her neck, snapping her out of thought.
"Thinking of me weren't you?", a smirk growing on his face.
"You wish Norris. Unless you're the setting sun, then no." She then further got told plans which included meetings and exploration, and that she would have dinner with him at 8:30pm.
A/N: I'm sorry this chapter is slightly short, I drafted it last night because I needed some relief from my life with the pressures of study. Hopefully, I'll update more regularly , but I can't promise anything!
