Paddock trip

Lando's POV: 

I awoke to the sun beaming through the silk curtains of the hotel room. The crisp blue sky could be seen through the gap of the curtains, with fluffy marshmallow clouds being blown away from the light breeze, as the sky began to clear. I turned to grab my phone: I had been tagged in a few photos, to which I opened them. My screen filled with photo's of me and Sophia running around the paddock yesterday after the press conference. I smiled at the sight of my phone, leaving a like on some of them. I messaged Kym through Instagram, asking if he could possibly send me the photo so I could print it off. He willingly agreed, sending it to me the next minute. I looked over my shoulder to see Sophia sleeping peacefully like an angel, her hair sprawled over the pearl white pillow. Her chest rose and fell, as she began to stir from her slumber. She gently fluttered her eyes open, to meet my eyes. "Hm, not the worst sight to wake up to," she said, causing me to laugh. "Good morning," I briefly stopped to peck her lips. "Did you sleep well?" I asked. "I slept like a bug in a rug thanks, how was your sleep?" 

"Uninterrupted and quiet, but it was a very good nights sleep."

"What's the time?" she asked in a sleepy voice. "8:30, hotel's breakfast is starting now I think." 

"Come on, let's get up and eat," she said, hitting my leg gently from underneath the sheets, as we both swung our legs over the edge of the bed. I headed for the bathroom to freshen up, brushing my teeth and washing my face. I had a shower last night so there was no point in getting in now. Besides, I would be all sweaty from driving later. I just ruffled through my brunette curls with my fingers, and I grabbed my teamwear, and I re-emerged from the bathroom. Sophia then glided swiftly into the room, to get ready. I sat on the edge of the bed, scrolling through endlessly on my social media. I heard the door lock click open, causing my eyes wonder up to the figure stood against the bathroom doorframe. She wore a white dress with horizontal lines gliding across it along the top half: the bottom half changing direction. slits down the side revealed sewn in shorts. Her shoulders showed off her olive skin. The dress flowed down her long legs to her feet, which she wore the bright white trainers I let her borrow back in Monaco. "What do you think?" she asked, looking at me. I rose off of the bed, and walked over to her. I firmly grabbed hold of her hips and pulled them towards me, as she looked up. "You're stunning darling, anyone would be so lucky to have you." She smiled. "Well it's a good job that I'm yours then?" I kissed her lips gently, as she rested her hands on my chest. She pushed me away slightly, and looked up to me. "We need breakfast," she said, grabbing her black, dainty handbag and throwing it over her shoulder. We walked down to the hotel's restaurant, which was surprisingly empty. We grabbed some food: both of us opting for fruit and yoghurt, as we sat down facing one another. As we ate, I couldn't keep my eyes off of her beauty. It pained me to know I couldn't let the world know she was mine. I wanted to get the rumours stirring even more, so I proposed an idea. "So, I was thinking...." I said, whilst intertwining my fingers into hers. "How about when we go to through the paddock holding hands?" She smiled, her gleaming white teeth shining. "Only if your comfortable with it, anddddd if you've asked Charlotte. You cause enough headaches already." Sophia laughed at that last part, making me chuckle. She nodded towards the door, as Charlotte walked down with Helen and Jon. Jon greeted us first. "Good morning lovebirds, how are we today?" he asked. We both replied with the words 'Really good thanks how about you guys?'. After our little social meet-up, Sophia nudged my leg from under the table, signalling me to talk to Charlotte. I pulled her away, and began to consult her. "So Charlotte, me and Sophia want to take that next step in letting the world know. We said we could walk in holding hands this morning at the track. Then Sophia made a point at the fact that I should make sure it's ok with you before hand because quote unquote 'I cause you enough headaches already as it is'. I mean I'm not that bad, am I?" Charlotte grinned. "Yeah it's no problem to me, I can't see why not. And thanks for checking. You didn't have to do that, but like Sophia said, you are just a massive headache sometimes." I put on a face of offense as a joke, which made Charlotte laugh. I love watching and making other people happy: it always brings a smile to my face. "But no, you aren't as bad as some other drivers I've heard of, according to their PR's, so thanks for giving me an easy time" she said, as we began to walk over, and I pulled her into a sideward hug. We approached the table again, Jon and Helen talking to Sophia, getting ready to leave. Charlotte gave her the nod, and I could see the desperate glimpse in her eye: she appeared to be plotting our next move. I grabbed her arm, and interlocked it with mine, and we all began to walk to the circuit. Jon, Helen and Charlotte went ahead slightly, as me and my partner held back behind the corner, away from paparazzi and the flashing lights of the paddock. I looked her into her deep ocean eyes, full of desire and need. "Are you sure you want to do this? I don't want to make you feel forced into anything you don't want to do." I asked. "Lando, I don't want you to feel forced doing this either. I would do it in a heartbeat, but you're the one who has to face the media, you're the one who's going to be asked questions. Are you sure you're ready." I was more than ready. I had answers layed out in my head, and I gave her a firm nod. She kissed my lips gently and we began to make our way to the front gates of the paddock. As we approached, she gave me a reassuring look, as we began to walk.

This weekend, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix takes place at the Yas Marina circuit, the finale of the 2020 FIA Formula one world championship. All the drivers are getting ready to give it one last push for the last race of this intense season, one of which includes Lando Norris. He was spotted walking into the paddock hand in hand with his roommate Sophia (l/n). Contrary to this, many people suspected a more-than-friends relationship Lando has been acting down may be the truth after all. Earlier this month, Lando did a twitch stream, to which Sophia had been with him. He announced that she had moved in with him to "save looking for a house with unfamiliar people, when it's only about a 5 minute drive from my house to her workplace". Seems normal right? However, it was after the stream that things began to stir, and the rumours of them two dating began to spark. They had both said goodbye to Lando's fans for tuning in, ending the stream-or so they thought. Lando then proceeded to show an affectionate move, kissing her on the forehead. Sophia quickly noticed that they were still live, ending it. Since then, Lando and Sophia have both been seen liking posts of the two of them on Instagram, Twitter and Tiktok. Sophia seems to pop up more regularly in Lando's life, featuring in his quadrant video, as well as shopping with RiaBish, another member of  Team Quadrant. The tip of the iceberg for most fans was when Lando posted a photo of Sophia on his Instagram, the caption reading 'Mi Amour' (my love in Spanish). He also limited the comments, and several people believe that this is so fans aren't flocking into pressuring them into a relationship, if they aren't in one already. But it seems to me that Lando Norris and Sophia (l/n)  are together, which the way they act romantically with each other.
