Chapter 3: New Member Added

Kaden

"Kaden I believe I've found you a friend. Her name is Skylynn and she's six years old." Em said taking me upstairs to a room with a little girl inside, playing with horses.

"Hi I'm Kadence, but my mommy and daddy call me Kaden." I said waving at her. "Hi, I'm Skylylnn but my family calls me Sky."

"You guys get to know each other, I'm gonna go back downstairs to bring you some fruit, what fruits do you want?" Em asked us.

"Grapes." We both said at the same time. Em giggled, "ok."

"So Sky, what's your favorite color?" I asked her, while playing with one of the horsies she gave me.

"Pink. What's your favorite animal?"
She asked me, putting a doll on top of one of the horsies.

"I like doggies, but I like horsies too." I said laughing. "You like to laugh a lot." She said giggling. "Yeah." I said giggling.

"Hey guys, came back with the grapes." Em said, sitting down in the bed, passing us the grapes.

"Thank you." We said taking grapes from the plastic baggie. "Your welcome." She said closing the door with a rope, and laying down on her bed.

"I'm tired." I said. "You can sleep in my bed." She said, getting up from her bed, picking me up, and putting me in it.

"Thank you." I said, laying down on the bed. She tucked me in and kissed my forehead.

"Don't worry, you'll be safe. I'll lock the door to make sure you guys don't get into any trouble." She said, untying the rope, taking Sky's hand, walking out the door, tying the rope again, and closing the door.

-Next Day-

Johnson

We walk back into the tombs to get the rest of the supplies when dozens of walkers come through them. "GO BACK! GO BACK!" Charles yelled.

I turned back around and shot the walkers that we're too getting close.

"JOHNSON, WE GOT NO TIME FOR THIS, LETS MOVE!" He yelled, grabbing my shirt, yanking me into the doorway.

Charles locked the door behind him before the walkers came in. "WALKERS IN CELL BLOCK C!" Carter yelled while shooting a few walkers.

"I'm gonna go get Sky and Kaden!" Em yelled, shooting a couple of walkers in her way.

"I'LL COME WITH!" I yelled running after her. I finally caught up to her and we went up the stairs killing a few walkers on the way.

We saw that there were two walkers trying to get in the cell. She killed them with her pistol.

"Sky! Kaden!" She yelled over the sound of gunshots.

"We're right here!" They yelled, coming out from under the bed. "Thank god!" She said relieved.

"Open the door for a sec, I'm gonna put the bunk bed in front of the door." She said impatiently.

Sky untied the rope and let us in. Em and I pushed the bunk bed in front of the door. We jumped through the gap of the bed and shut the door.

"Tie the door shut and when your done, hide in that corner." I said pointing to the right corner of the room, closest to the door.

"Ok." They said and we went back downstairs. We shot more walkers on the way down and didn't see anyone inside.

We shot the remaining walkers inside and decided to go outside and reload.

"Hey Charles, what happen-" Johnson stopped in his tracks. "They broke through the fence. And the only way to fix is to kill everyone single one of them without making a sound so that more walkers can't come." Shawn said confidently.

"And how are we gonna do that?" Cam said smartly. "We create some kind of distraction to lure different groups of them into different sections." Aaron said yawning.

"That's the smartest thing I've ever heard you say." Nash said laughing. "Can we just get going with the plan?!" Charles said and we all laughed.
