Carter

I took a little nap as Nash and Shawn boarded up the windows with some wood.

When I woke up, everybody was already in the kitchen or living room.

I looked around a couple times then yawned as I sat up on the couch.

I got up and went upstairs to get my book-bag to change. I grabbed my book-bag and went into the bathroom.

I brushed my teeth, washed my butt and changed into a white tank top, put one of Cam's black merch sweatshirt on top, dotted fuzzy-socks, jeans, and fully black vans.

I folded my dirty clothes and put it on top of the hamper, zipped up my bag, put it on my back and headed back downstairs.

"Em, wanna go with me on a hunt?" I asked as I approached her. "Sure." She said, and put her bowl in the sink. "I just need to change and get my book-bag and stuff." She said and headed upstairs.

Em

I changed into a white tank top, put on a grey bat-wing sweater, some jeans, black converse, and, of course, my book-bag.

Before I left, I grabbed my pistol and pocket knife.

I headed back downstairs and gave Hayes a peck on the lips. "I'm going on a supply-run with Carter, be back in a few." I told him. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and told me to be careful.

Carter and I left the house and went into the woods leading to a few houses.

We headed toward a pale blue house, till we heard a walker chewing something. It looked familiar so we decided to sneak up on it, we were still close to a house, and - nature being the asshole that it is - a twig snapped.

The walker stopped chewing and looked at us. It stood up and headed towards us slowly. We started to cry silently.

Matt came closer and closer till Carter just pushed him away. We cried louder and Matt just kept on coming towards us. I pushed him away and Carter finally put a bullet in his brain.

Matt fell flat on his back. Laying on the ground. Lifeless.

Carter fell to the floor and I fell with him. He pulled me into a hug and we just cried in each other's arms.

We cried for a few minutes till we heard a voice.

"Guys, it's ok." "I'm alright."

I sniffled and released from Carter's hug. We looked to the right and saw a slightly-visible Matthew sitting next to Carter.

"You guys are gonna be alright without me. You guys never even wanted me here anyway." He said sadly. "It was my fault that you left, you don't-" Matt interrupted me and told me something before he disappeared.

"No, it was my fault. I never should of tried to hit you. I still do love you and I'll never stop. And I'm not just talking to you, I'm talking to you too Carter. I'll always protect you guys. I'll visit you from time to time. And Hayes better take care of you, or I'll have to talk to him personally." He said seriously and disappeared into the thin air.

"Let's leave, and do this some other time." I said, crying. He nodded and we walked home, tears still coming out of our eyes.

Nash

Everyone was deep into their conversations till' there was a couple knocks at the door.

I made my way to the door and looked through the peep-hole. I saw Lil' Carter and Em crying.
