Chapter 13: We Thought We Lost You!

*Merida = Meri*

Meri

I woke up with a pounding headache -I groaned and rubbed my temples.

All of a sudden, it started to get hot, so I took of my blanket and felt both relief and cold air go through my body.

I shivered and tossed my blanket back over my body. Couple minutes later, I groaned as I start to sweat again.

"My body's bipolar." I sighed.

I took off half of my blanket and sighed in relief. "Finally, peace is found."

I closed my eyes and slowly drifted back to sleep, hoping I could get better.

*AFewHoursLater*

"C'mon, mommy, let's go on the 'swings." I said excitedly.

"No. You 'have to 'learn how to defend 'yourself. I 'won't always be 'here for you 'Meri, you might only be 7 'years old 'but you 'need to know." She started getting angry.

"But mommy I want to play with Jessy and Jelle." I whined quietly, as I looked down.

All I heard was a 'moan come from her. I 'looked up in 'confusion to see her as a 'different person.

She reached for me as I screamed in terror, running away from her as I did.

I ran to my 'house and locked the door behind me. I cried in my hands and heard a voice.

'Wake up Meri, wake up.'

It kept on repeating till it screamed,

"WAKE UP!"

I shot up from the couch, 'surrounded by a 'pool of 'sweat.

The guys looked at me, their 'faces filled with two things.

Fear and concern.

"Just a memory, turned into a nightmare." I told them as I steadied my breathing.

"I hate when that happens, you think that all your memories are happy and filled with joy, until you go to sleep and remember it as a police crime scene." Shawn said with a blank expression.

"That's deep." A 'random voice spoke.

We looked at the 'direction of the back 'door to see a tall, white guy, with brown hair wearing a 'tie-dye 'bandana.

"Taylor!" The guys screamed and ran towards him, embracing him in a hug.

"We exist too ya' know." Another 'voice spoke.

A girl came out from behind the boy named Taylor. A girl that had 'light skin, regular-sized brown hair, and light blue eyes.

"Emely!" The guys screamed. They let go of Taylor and embraced Emely in a big hug. "I missed you guys." She said, trying to wrap her arms around them.

"I see I'm not loved." 'Another girl said, she had the same complexion as 'Emely, only a bit older - I guess 'she's her older sister.

"Edelyn!" The guys screamed again and hugged Edelyn.

"Are you 'guys 'gonna stop 'screaming?" I yelled and rubbed my temples.

"Who's this little curly-haired head?" Emely asked. "That Merida, she's sick." Carter said sadly.

More guys stepped into the house, two little girls following behind. They caught me staring and smiled widely. "A new best friend!" They said excitedly, running towards me.

"Hi I'm Skylynn." The girl with short blonde hair, light skin, and brown eyes said. "And I'm Kadence," said the other girl - she had medium-sized dirty blonde hair, light skin and light brown eyes.
