The two girls strolled the mall, hoping they would come across a full dress store. But somehow Trixie's prediction was correct. There didn't seem to be a store in the mall with dresses still in stock. And if they were, the girls had gone in and picked through all of them, not being able to find one that suited them.

Along the way, the girls had picked up a small corsage and some shoe cleaning materials. At first, Trixie questioned Riley's odd decision, but Riley answered that she would be wearing her pair of Converse (okay, just pretend that they have Converse, or something like that) that she wears everyday.

"You don't want to wear heels or flats or something?" Riley shook her head.

"Not really. Something comfortable."

"Then you're gonna have to scrub hard and well." The two laughed and continued walking around.

Finally, they had come across a store. Excitedly, the girls walked in. And it was nearly jam packed.

"C'mon! We have to look at something before someone takes it!" Riley was dragged off into the mass of people. The room was very stuffy and could be considered claustrophobic.

Riley had nearly been run over a few times, people barely caring about the star badge worn on their chests. Riley clearly remembered that Trixie almost (and thank god) burned her finger. Trixie apologized many times, regretting letting herself use an iron. Of course Riley, being Riley, forgave her and told her to forget about it.

"Uh, are we going somewhere at all," questioned Riley.

"Of course," Trixie replied. "We just gotta plow through all these people." Riley groaned as her red headed friend dragged her along.

The boys of the Shane Gang slowly walked back to their mechas. Neither of them said a word, until Eli had to say something.

"Oh c'mon guys! Look on the bright side-"

"There is none," injected Pronto rather glumly.

"That's not true! I mean, we saved that dog!"

"Yeah, but bro, it was the smallest distress call. Ever." Kord had emphasized the word 'ever' as he mounted.

"Okay," Eli admitted, rubbing his neck, "it wasn't the most exciting distress call. Or life changing. But at least we saved that dog who was acting all cat-like!" Pronto and Kord had looks of confusion on their faces. "Oh," Eli said remembering, "a cat is an animal on the surface." Kord and Pronto shook their heads and revved up their engines.

Eli quickly mounted and followed suit. He was recalling their distress call.

The boys arrived at the scene of the distress call, dismounting and following Eli who heroically ran to a nearby young women who was yelling nonsense into a tree.

"It's okay ma'am. Calm down. What happened?" The women shook and her eyes watered.

"M-my dog! He-he's trapped! In t-that tree!" The heroes' faces fell as they looked up into the tree.

"Oh," said Eli disappointedly. If I didn't know any better, he thought, I would've thought that dog was a cat. But then again I haven't seen a cat round here.

"Please! Please help him!" The women sobbed. Eli patted her back reassuringly.

"Don't worry ma'am, we'll get him down real quick." Eli fired Spinner who pulled him up into the tree. Unfortunately, Eli got whacked in the face multiple times by twigs and branches.
