I hope you guys are enjoying this fanfiction! I'm trying hard to find the time to write this, considering school and all. But I hope that you're reading this in your partially free time!

I can't believe it! I'm gonna live with the Shane Gang! My life could be totally different. I mean, isn't the life of a hero exciting? Maybe. Not. But, who am I to say that?
We were all excited. Even the slugs were. Trixie was especially excited. "Yes! Finally, another girl! Thanks Eli!" Trixie probably hugged Eli at least three times, nearly killing him every time.
"You're... welcome... Trix," he gasped in between breaths. Trixie released Eli, leaving him panting. I laughed and hugged Trixie.
Kord patted me on the back and Pronto congratulated me. I was so happy, I'm pretty sure I was bursting with excitement. No, Trixie was literally jumping up and down and squealing with joy. I was just smiling from ear to ear.
"Great, let's load some of your stuff. Do you have a lot," Eli asked after recovering from Trixie's tight bear hugs. I shook my head, still sort of grinning. I couldn't help it, I felt like it was painted on my face. "Okay, makes our jobs a lot easier. Do you have a mecha?" I nodded, still unable to speak because of what just happened. "Awesome, makes our jobs even easier. Kord and Pronto, you guys go home and grab one large trailer and one medium sized. Trixie and I will stay here and help Riley pack." Kord and Pronto nodded then went on their way.
"Here, I'll show you my room." I lead Eli and Trixie upstairs to my room. I opened the door and revealed my small room. "Let's start packing!" I grabbed a few boxes from my closet and the storage closet, then handed them to Eli and Trixie.
"I'll take the clothes." Trixie ran up to my closet and began folding some of my clothes. I began to pack my bed sheets and pillows and stuff.
"Hey, why do you get to fold clothes," Eli asked. Trixie looked back at him and raised an eyebrow.
"Because I'm a girl," she replied in a 'duh' tone. Eli blushed slightly then rubbed the back of his neck.
"Eli, you can pack my pictures and stuff off my walls and my desk." He headed over to my desk and packed all the paintings and pictures. I folded the top of my box and left it in the hallway. As we packed more and more things, the pile of boxes increased.
I headed to my bathroom and grabbed my soaps and other toiletries. I found a secure bag for my toiletries and put everything in.
As I was about to leave the bathroom, I looked at my reflection in the mirror. I had long hair black hair with indigo tips. Longer than I remembered. Brown eyes. Pink lips. I looked like my mother. And partly my father. But mostly my mother. My eyes teared up as I remembered my mom. Her warm hugs, her comforting words, her soft kisses on my cheek, how she would stroke my hair, her laugh that was contagious and graceful at the same time, and how she made the stars dance. I know, childish, but she told me if I looked long enough, it would look like they were dancing. I never did figure out how they danced. My father always saw them dance. I remember his strong and gentle hugs, his warm kisses before I went to bed, his strong encouraging words, and his wonderful stories about his old slug slinging life.
A tear silently fell from my eye, though I wiped it away before I went back to my room. "Hey, where'd you go," Trixie asked while piling in some of my art supplies into a box.
"Oh, I just went to get my toiletries and stuff from my bathroom." Trixie nodded and continued to pack. I looked around my bedroom for Eli. He was no where to be found. "Hey, where's Eli?" Trixie shrugged.
