We had arrived at the house that had been vandalized by Blakk at around 5:10. It was still pretty dark outside. But there was a little bit of light to see. We talked to the owner of the house and sorted things out. The Gang and I decided that we would most definitely get revenge on Blakk. We helped the owner, Mr. Brown, put mostly everything back in its place. As I carried some trash outside, I noticed that there was a small little house in the distance. It looked cozy.

When Mr. Brown came out, I asked him if anyone lived in the small house. "There used to be a couple living there with their little daughter. She was a strong girl. Courageous, loyal, brave, and caring. Everyone loved her."

"What happened?" Mr. Brown rubbed his chin thoughtfully and shrugged.

"Something along the lines of being kidnapped. The daughter lives in there all by herself now. She talks to us... occasionally. But rarely every. She's still the same girl we knew." Now it was my turn to rub my chin thoughtfully. A girl living all by herself?

"About how old do you think the girl is?" He shrugged once again.

"14, 15, maybe 16? She looks around that age." I nodded and tossed the given 'clues' around my head.

After we had finished helping Mr. Brown clean up, he thanked us and we were on our way. As the Gang saddled up onto their mechas, I had a thought.

"I can't wait to go home and beat Kord again!" Trixie raised her fist triumphantly, while Kord just smirked.

"What makes you so sure your gonna win?" He raised his eyebrows and wiggled them. Trixie on the other hand just rolled her eyes.

"Because I've already beaten you like a billion times. Billionth's a charm." Kord just puffed and crossed his arms while Trixie and Pronto engaged in a conversation on 'how to eat slug food without getting sick'.

"Hey, uh, guys?" Everyone's attention turned to me. "I was wondering if you guys were up for, I dunno, visiting that house over there?" I pointed to the distant house and rubbed the back of my neck. Everyone shrugged. I took that as yes. "Great, let's go." We rode our mechas over to the house and parked them nearby. I strode to the door with plenty of confidence. I knocked. No one. I knocked again. "Hello? Is anyone there," I called.

"Eli, no one's here, let's just go." Kord turned around to leave, but I put my hand on his shoulder.

"C'mon Kord. I know there's someone in there. The guy we just helped out told me so." Kord sighed then resumed his position, standing facing the door. I knocked again, but still no one answered.

"Eli, let Pronto show you how it's done." I looked at Trixie and Kord and they both just shrugged. "Aaahhhhh!!" Then boom. Pronto just body slammed himself through the door. I've gotta hand it to him, he did have a good idea.

"Uh Pronto, I thought you were just going to pick a lock or something."

"Eli, it is not that simple. I just put lots of weight on the door and it breaks! Or you could've just twisted the doorknob."

"What?!" We all yelled in unison. Pronto just shrugged nonchalantly and walked into the house.

Inside the house was dim. There were no lights turned on. There was a kitchen in the far left corner, a table beside the kitchen, a couch and a few extra chairs on the right. The curtains that draped from the windows were closed. There were a few potted plants around. On the walls were dozens of portraits of slugs and landscapes of Slugterra. Then I noticed a doorway and stairs leading up to it. Maybe the daughter, or girl, was living upstairs.
