The Tower
After our revelation about the Wicked Witch, we all went back into Mary Margaret's and stood or sat around the small island in the kitchen. Emma told Henry that we were just working on the case and requested that he go down to Granny's diner or go to the library. It was clear that Henry had dozens of questions and I could practically see the clogs in his mind swirling away. Nevertheless, Henry grabbed his jacket and left the apartment. We waited a couple of minutes before we started talking about the 'case' and instead just conducted some small talk conversations just in case Henry had been listening.
I was leaning against the counter between David and Jones while Mary Margaret sat on one of the stalls and Emma stood beside her. Regina was then stood between Jones and Emma, shrugging off her gloves and chucking them onto the counter.
"So now that we know who we're dealing with, how do we find this Wicked Witch?" David asked, leaning forward onto the counter.
"Might I suggest we start by asking if anyone's seen a woman with green skin running around?" Jones suggested sarcastically.
"We're cursed in Storybrooke. She'll look like any one of us," I reminded him.
"Then we start somewhere we know she's been—Regina's office," Emma said.
"I went over it with a fine-toothed comb. She left no trace," Regina told her.
"But you were combing for magic. Maybe there's physical evidence that you missed," Emma said.
"Good idea. We'll track her," David agreed, while I silently nodded my head in agreement.
"If you want to waste your time playing Nancy Drew, be my guest," Regina said, and I smiled slightly when I saw the confusion on Jones' face when he heard the name Nancy Drew; he still hadn't quite got the hang of the modern world. "But we can't let Henry wander around alone with that witch and her flying monkeys out there."
"Well, especially since one of those flying monkeys could turn out to be his father," Jones said, making everyone turn and glare at him.
"Still no sign of Neal?" Mary Margaret asked.
"No," Emma shook her head.
"Point being, someone needs to protect Henry. He doesn't even know what's going on," Regina returned the conversation back to Henry.
"I'm guessing you're volunteering?" I guessed.
"If you find anything, call me," Regina replied, picking up her gloves.
"Just remember, he thinks we're here because I'm on a case," Emma reminded Regina.
"Well, look who's gotten good at lying," Regina commented.
"And just don't let anyone slip up. As—as far as Henry knows, you're just madam mayor, and that's it," Emma said.
"I'm well aware of how Henry sees me," Regina replied, hurt evident in her voice.
Regina then left the apartment and we were back to plotting a plan.
"Time's wasting. There's something wicked in your town. What do you say we go find it?" Jones suggested.
With that, David, Jones, Emma, and I left the apartment to go to Regina's office. Mary Margaret had stayed at her apartment due to her being so heavily pregnant that she just needed to rest.
When we got to the office, we all split off and started searching different areas of the room. For a good ten minutes none of us found a thing. We had to be careful where we stepped as there was smashed glass scattered around and many things had been broken. As we were slowly starting to give up on finding anything, David spoke up and gave us some good news.
