After we lost Emma to the Evil Queen, Killian and I tried to come up with a plan to get her back but it was proving harder than we expected. Not having been in this world for quite some time was having an effect on us.

"You could distract the Evil Queen and then I could go to the dungeons and rescue Emma," Killian suggested, as I placed down another round of rum in the tavern we were currently plotting in.

"And tell me something, Killian, do you know your way around the Evil Queen's castle?" I asked.

"No, but how different can it be from every other castle?" Killian shrugged.

"We are so screwed," I sighed, chucking back my drink.

"Slow down there, love. I'm not one to stop drinking and everything but if you have too much you won't be able to think straight and then we'll struggle to think of a way to not only save Emma but also get Charming and Snow's story back on course," Killian said, taking my drink away from me.

"Great, another prob—" I began but cut myself off when I had a thought. "Snow and Charming. That's our ticket."

"Ok, maybe I didn't stop you soon enough. I'll get some water," Killian said, getting to his feet but I grabbed onto his arm to stop him.

"Charming thinks Snow has the ring. He's gonna be looking for her. What if we found them first and then somehow convinced them to help us get Emma back," I said.

"That way they might fall for each other while forced to be in proximity of each other," Killian realised before his face split into a smile, and he wrapped an arm around my waist. "Have I ever told you that you're brilliant?"

"Probably. But you can say it again," I replied with a smile.

Killian smiled back before leaning in and kissing me gently on the lips.

"Come on, let's go find Charming."

With time not on our side here, with a quick poof of magic, I appeared in Charming's castle and grabbed the closest shirt I could find before disappearing and reappearing back beside Killian in the middle of the woods. I had tried to use the ring first but I remembered that the ring actually belonged to Charming's mother so by using the spell on the ring, we would just be looking for his mother instead. So instead I cast a quick location spell on the shirt so that we could find Charming and hopefully Snow.

Unfortunately, the disadvantage of using the location spell is that you have to follow the floating object meaning we couldn't poof ourselves there. Luckily, I could speed up the hunt meaning Killian and I were practically chasing after the floating shirt.

It took us about an hour of chasing the shirt and several breaks before we heard distant voices; a man and a woman, both of which were familiar.

"I don't have your ring," the familiar voice of Snow said.

Killian and I glanced over to where we could hear the voices and saw that Snow appeared to be stuck in a net hanging from a tree and Charming was watching her smugly.

"And why don't I believe you?" Charming countered.

"You should. She's telling the truth, mate," Killian said, as we walked over to them.

"Good afternoon, Prince James," I said before noticing he was looking at Killian in confusion. "Oh, right. That's Prince Charles. He was at the ball the other night along with Princess Leia. You remember them?"

Charming just looked at us in silent confusion.

"Lovely ball the other night," Killian complimented. "The mutton was a tad overcooked, but that happens."
