Charlotte looked so beautiful in her dress. I watched as she wandered around the room making some phone calls and checking in with vendors to make sure everything was still going well for the day. As the matron of honor, she'd insisted that she take all of the calls instead of me, wanting me to be as relaxed as possible.

That was perfectly okay with me. I hate talking on the phone, especially with stuff like this.

There really wasn't a whole lot to wrangle, really. This whole day wasn't going to be some big and extravagant event. Both Jin and I wanted today to be a simple and quiet celebration with our closest friends and family with the bigger party to come in a few months.

The guys would be starting their summer tour very soon, so we wanted to have the ceremony now. Once the tour was over, then we would throw a big reception to celebrate with everyone from the company. Jin has known all of those people for a long time, so it would be great to celebrate with them too.

I got up and went over to the open window. Leaning against the edge, I looked out over the grounds of this beautiful hotel. The grass was a gorgeous green and there were trees lining the perimeter. I couldn't see our ceremony space from here, as it was set up on the opposite side of the building, but I knew that it was perfect and exactly what we wanted.

The sun sat high in the cloudless sky with the warm breeze gently rustling the leaves on the trees. All of it reminded me of the day we ran away to the lookout of the city while we were in California. I rested my head against the edge of the window and closed my eyes with a sigh, thinking back on that day. The sun felt good on my face, and I smiled at how well everything was going.

I thought of Jin and his smiling face. I love how his eyes would squeeze shut and his nose would scrunch up when he laughs. I can hear that laugh in my head in an instant, and it will always be one of the most comforting sounds in the world. Hearing his laugh meant that he was happy, and all I want for him is to be happy.

I opened my eyes, blinking a few times against the sun. My smile never faded as I continued to think of him, the amazing man that flipped my entire world upside down. And yet, nothing has ever felt more right side up.

The apartment was quiet minus the sizzling pans on the stove. It was early, and for some reason, I was wide awake. So instead of lying in bed and staring at the ceiling, I decided to get up and make the guys a big breakfast before they had to head out. They had a few things to record for their social media accounts and decided to get them out of the way in the morning. It was on the grounds in a different building, and they would only be gone for a couple of hours.

I stirred the big pan of cheesy scrambled eggs and saw a hand grab a piece of bacon off of the plate on the counter. I turned to see Joon and wasn't surprised. He was always the early riser of the bunch. I smiled as I transferred more bacon to the plate to cool. "Good morning."

"Good morning." Joon leaned back against the counter. "This is a fun surprise."

"You guys can't go off to work on empty stomachs." I bit into my own piece of bacon. It was perfectly crispy. "Plus I've already been awake for an hour so I decided to make myself useful." The eggs were done, so I pushed the pan to the back burner and covered it.

Joon took my hand and brought it closer to his face, getting a better look at my new ring. His dimples appeared with his smile and he nodded his head. "This was a good choice. It's beautiful."

"Thank you." I smiled as Joon let go of my hand.

Jin and I went the other day to do some ring shopping. He brought me to see the jewelry designer that he worked with to create my bracelet. It's a princess cut solitaire diamond on a white gold band with the stone turned into a kite position. It was perfect for me.
