"Manufactures Protocol dictates I cannot be captured. I must self destruct." The droid explained.

"Do not self destruct." The Mandalorian ordered.

I glanced over at the door, seeing a control panel next to the door. My eyes lit up. I can get us through that door. With that in mind, I turned to face Mando.

"There's a control panel. Cover me." I urged.

I then ran towards the control panel. I turned around, shouting out. "R8, toss me the EMP generator."

"The what?" The Mandalorian asked, sounding baffled.

R8 gave me an affirmative beep before he took out the small portable EMP generator before tossing it over towards me. I reached my hands out, catching it with ease.

"EMP generator, it produces electromagnetic pulses and if I can get it working, I'll be able to disable the door." I explained.

And if I fail, chances are that I'll disable every electronic device within a hundred feet or so of the generator. I then turned around towards the control panel. I placed the EMP generator on the wall beside the control panel. IG put the bomb in his chest away and helped the Mandalorian take down as many mercenaries as they could. I quickly worked on the generator, trying to turn it on.

"You almost done?!" The Mandalorian exclaimed.

"I'm working on it. Don't rush me, bucket-head." I retorted.

All of the sudden, a blast emerged, hitting my right hand. I let out a cry as I felt my entire hand engulfed in pain. It felt as though my hand was covered in flames. I then grabbed the EMP generator from the wall before running to behind the arch, where the Mandalorian was still hiding. I grimaced, looking down at my hand, which was still throbbing. R8 rushed over towards me, letting out a high pitch squeal. He noticed the wound in my hand immediately.

"It's all right, R8." I assured him. "Give me a gauze pad, distilled water, and adhesive tape."

R8 gave me an affirmative beep before taking out a gauze pad, a small bottle of distilled water, and the adhesive tape. I grabbed the bottle, pouring some water on the wound, making me wince. I then grabbed the pad before taking the tape, wrapping around my hand. I gently gave R8 a pat on his head.

"Thanks R8." I said, giving him a smile.

R8 gave me a happy beep, glad he could help me. The Mandalorian turned his helmet towards me. "You all right?"

I was taken back upon hearing his words. I didn't expect for him to worry about me. All I thought about was getting into the encampment. I nodded. "Yeah, I'm good. Listen, I can go back and try again."

With that in mind, I prepared myself, ready to run back to the control panel. However, I felt a hand around my left arm, pulling me back. I whipped around, facing him.

"Oh no. You aren't going back there." He argued.

"Why not? We need to get back in there." I protested.

"We'll find another way." He mentioned.

I furrowed my brows. "And how will we do that? They've got us pinned."

Upon hearing my words, IG blurted out. "I will initiate self-destruct."

From his chest, the bomb appeared, terrifying me. I blurted out. "Don't self destruct!"

"Rambeau's right!" The Mandalorian agreed. "We're shooting our way out."

We exchanged a nod before emerging from behind the wall, finding many more Nikto mercenaries along with a huge laser canon. My eyes widened in horror. This just got worse.
