A/N: Sorry for taking a while to update. Would anyone be interested in a prequel for this story? It would follow Miranda/Ayla's story after her father dropped her off, joining Coulson's team, and so forth. Tell me what you think! Now here's Chapter 11!

After a while of resting, I climbed up from the bed, making my way up to the cockpit. As I walked towards the cockpit, the entire ship violently shook. I extended out a hand, reached for one of the walls to steady myself. I grimaced, feeling a dull pain. I was feeling a little better, but I could still feel a bit of pain. It was a bearable pain though. I finally reached the cockpit, the door opened, allowing me to walk inside.

"Let's see. Sorgan." Mando said, aloud, looking at his computer. "Looks like there's no star ports, no industrial centers, no population density. Real backwater skug hole."

"So Sorgan it is?" I questioned.

Upon hearing my voice, Mando spun his chair around. "What're you doing up?"

"I thought you'd need need my help." I mentioned.

"I'm fine. You need to rest." Mando advised.

"I'm feeling much better." I assured him.

I then noticed the child in his arms. He was moving around, not staying still. I extended out my hands.

"I can take him." I offered.

The moment the child saw my arms moving towards him, he extended out his tiny little hands in my direction as he let out a coo. I cracked a smile. Mando let out a sigh, but allowed me to take the child in my arms.

"You ready to lay low and stretch your legs for a couple of months, you little womp rat?" Mando asked, glancing over at the child.

"Womp rat?" I repeated, horrified.

"Yeah, so?" Mando retorted, not seeing what was so wrong about calling him a womp rat, whatever that was.

I raised an eyebrow. "Seriously? I bet he's gonna cry. No child would love being called that."

I glanced down to see the child, giggling as he looked back and forth between us. Mando immediately raised his hands up towards the child. "You see? He likes it."

"He probably doesn't know the meaning of that word and if he did, I'm sure you'd end up like that mudhorn." I mentioned.

"Hey, don't give him any ideas." Mando warned.

We glanced over at the child, who cooed, looking at us. I wonder what he was thinking of. Once we landed in Sorgan, Mando stood up from his chair. He then extended his hands towards me. No doubt he wanted the child, so I handed him back to him. Mando gently placed the child on his chair.

"All right, Miranda and I are gonna go out there and look around. It shouldn't take long. Now don't touch anything. We'll find some lodging, then come back for you. You stay there. Don't move. You understand?" Mando asked.

The child merely tilted his head as he looked up at us. I raised an eyebrow. I doubt he understood. Mando nodded. "Great."

He then walked out of the cockpit, leaving me to catch up with him. Once we reached the cargo hold, R8 rushed over towards us, letting out several high pitch beeps. He was worried for me, wondering where I had gone.

"I'm fine, R8. I'm right here. You don't need to worry." I assured him.

"R-A, you stay with the kid." Mando ordered.

R8 let out a few aggressive beeps, wondering he made him in charge. Mando clenched his fists as he stormed over towards R8. Immediately, I intervened, afraid of what he'd do to R8. "Whoa! No need to fight. It's all right, R8."
