Noel turned to face me taking both of my hands in his. I looked at him swallowing hard before I burst into tears burying my face in his chest.

He hugged me tightly and just held me, letting me cry. I pulled back and Noel took my keys from my hand.

“You're not drivin'"

"Do you drive?" I asked wiping my eyes

He nodded

I let him take my keys and got in the passenger side. I knew he didn’t actually drive, but there was no point in arguing with him.

We drove to his place in Belize Park and it was a really quiet ride.

We went inside and I couldn't help but notice that Meg wasn't there.

"Where's Meg?" I asked quietly

"How's your cheek?" He asked leading me into the kitchen changing the subject, his house was gorgeous.

"It hurts" I answered honestly

He opened the freezer and handed me a bag of peas.

I took it from him and we both sat at the table.

"Where's Meg?" I asked again resting the peas on my cheek.

"We...uh...she left"

"She's not gonna be too happy I'm here when she gets home"

"She's not coming back, Ly"

I looked at him confused

"She left last week"

I frowned "Oh, I'm sorry...why?"

He was quiet for a minute and I spoke again.

"It was because of me, wasn't it?" I asked "Because we went for coffee"

He shook his head "If it wasn't that it would've been somethin' else"

"It's not my fault?"

He shook his head "No"

I sighed leaning on my hand. "I have to go back there"

"Like hell you do" Noel said looking at me.

"Noel, all of my stuff is at Mike's apartment, clothes, books, everything"

"Y'don't need it" he shook his head "I'll buy you new stuff"

"That's a lot of stuff, Noel"

He shrugged "I think I can manage, it'll be cheaper than the flat I owe you" he smiled "Y'ain't ever settin' foot back in that place."

No matter how shitty Noel could make me feel, he could always make me so much happier. I'd had an overwhelming sense in that moment that I'd chosen the right brother.

Well, okay, Liam kind of made that choice for me, but who was to say I couldn't be happy with it?

I got up from the table and sighed, leaning against his chest. "I love you, Noelie."

"Don't call me that", he scoffed.

"Can I call you 'sugar tits'?"

"Not if you expect me to answer..."

I giggled kissing his neck. "I really do love you"

"I love you too, Ly" He whispered in my hair kissing my temple.

"When do you leave?"

"Wednesday"

I hugged him tighter "Don't go"

He pulled back pushing my hair off my face. "I have t'go"

"Why?" I pouted "You're the boss, just tell them you're sick; they don't know about me...do they?"

Noel shook his head "Ain't none of their business"

"How long are you going for?"

"'Til Monday"

"I don't want to be here by myself that long"

"Then come with me"

"No," I shook my head "I can't"

He frowned "Why not?"

"What is everyone going to think?" I asked "What's Liam going to say?"

"Who cares about them" Noel frowned "An' Liam's a cunt"

I knew Noel was right and I always said I never cared what people thought or said about me, but if I went with him to the States it would be like rubbing it in Liam's face; the whole band would know that I really did cheat on Liam with Noel. They probably did already, but if they didn't see me WITH Noel I could just as easily tell them Liam and I gave up on trying.

"I don't have anything to pack"

He reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet, he handed me a card and smiled.

"Don't spend it all in one place"

I took the card and smiled

"I do have one thing you can pack though"

I looked at him confused "What?"

He turned walking down the hall and I followed to his bedroom. My jaw dropped when I walked in. "Wow"

Noel looked over his shoulder "Huh?"

"Your bedroom is amazing"

He hummed "Yeah, Meg did it"

I watched Noel dig in his dresser drawers for something before he stood up and turned to face me.

He handed it to me and I unfolded it with a frown and realized what it was; I looked at him.

"You kept this?"

He shrugged "Wasn't mine t'get rid of"

"Even after I left last year"

He nodded

"I can't believe you kept my dirty old t-shirt"
