I pulled the door open just enough to stand in the opening.
I immediately relaxed when I saw that it was one of the hotel staff.

"I have a delivery for Mrs Gallagher"

I frowned but took the box from him and smiled. "Thank you"

I closed the door and put the box down on the table.

"Aren't you going to open it?" He asked over my shoulder.

I shook my head "No..."

"Well, if you don't know when he'll be back, I better get back downstairs..."

I nodded fixing his hair. "That's probably a good idea; if that box is from Noel he won't be far behind it."

"So this is it, huh?" He asked with a smile.

"Isn't that how a-"

He cut me off, kissing me hard wrapping me in his arms.
I hope I wasn't about to walk out of this guy's life and completely ruin it.

He stepped back letting me go as he reached behind him to open the door.

"Look me up if you're ever in Oakland"

"Oakland?" I frowned

"That's where I'm from" he laughed "We're on tour here..."

I nodded "I will..."

I wouldn't.

"See you around, Amanda"

"Bye sweetheart"

I closed the door behind him as he left and turned my attention to the box on the table.
I gently pulled the lid off the box and inside was a huge bouquet of roses.

I fucking hated roses.

There was a note sitting on top, scribbled in Noel's handwriting.

Meet me downstairs, I'm sending someone up to watch Jack.

There was a soft knock on the door and I turned to answer it.
It was a young woman from the hotel staff.

"Hi," she smiled "I'm here to look after Jack, Noel sent me..."

I opened the door letting her in "I didn't know the hotel had a babysitting service..."

"A nanny service ma'am, only for our most valued customers" She smiled

I sighed "Please, call me Amanda..."

"Amanda?" She frowned "Mr Gallagher said-"

"Lyla," I corrected "I go by Amanda a lot when we-"

"The anonymity" She nodded understanding "Happens a lot..."

I nodded "He's sleeping in the other room; I just put him down about an hour ago so he should be asleep until we get back."

She nodded and I grabbed my purse slinging it over my shoulder.

"Have a good time" She smiled

I smiled pulling the door closed behind me and walked up the hallway to the bank of elevators.
When I got downstairs Noel was waiting in the lobby, hands stuffed in his jacket pockets and a pair of sunglasses perched on his nose.
He scrunched his face in disgust and I frowned turning to glance over my shoulder only to see the guy I'd kicked out of our hotel a few minutes ago.
He winked at me and smiled, I just smiled back before turning back around to face Noel.

I smiled as he pulled me into his arms kissing my neck.

"You know I hate roses..." I said pulling my own sunglasses out of my purse.
