~*~Author's Notes~*~ Hey guys! I hope ya'll enjoyed the last chapter. I'm sorry I didn't warn you guys. I just thought of the idea and wanted it to be the next chapter. This chapter is a continuation of Chapter Fourteen. I just wanted ya'll to know that. This chapter is dedicated to my friend Mary (BTRKendallLuvr) because she helped me get comfortable with my writing. So without further adieu, Chapter Fifteen: Flames and Foes!

Bruce pulled a strand of her curly brown hair behind her ear gently, stroking her cheek as he did this. Snowflakes clung to her hair and eyelashes as she looked up at him. He smiled softly down at her. Adeen returned the smile, a tear escaped from her eye. Bruce stroked his thumb gently along her cheek, wiping the teardrop away. The sincere look written in his eyes showed Adeen how much he truly loved her. No words could describe how she felt at this moment. She didn't care if the others were watching. All that mattered to her right at that moment was that she was in the arms of the man she truly loved. Even though it was freezing outside, his touch was warm. She felt safe being close to him. He kept his hand along the side of her face, leaning slowly towards her face, kissing her soft lips. Adeen closed her eyes as his lips met hers. His lips were soft and tender upon hers. She didn't remember the last time she was this happy. Bruce found it hard to believe he was actually happy. After all the hard and roughs years, he didn't have to worry about hurting people or running away. He actually had someone that loved him and didn't care he was a monster. He pressed his hands gently against her back, pulling her tenderly towards him. A smile lit up upon her lips as they kissed. She ran a hand through his messy brown curls.

The girls inside started squealing like fangirls as tehy watched Adeen and Bruce stand there as snow continued to fall around them. The three guys covered their ears, clenching their eyes shut from the high pitched squeals. The guys were a little surprised Natasha was acting this way. She was always the serious, 'I'm going to kill you' type. This was a new side of Natasha. The three guys always wondered how Natasha and Adeen were best friends. They were both very different people. Adeen was the sweet, shy somewhat, outgoing, tough-ass, smalltown girl while Natasha was the murderous, anger problem, Russian Spy who didn't like showing her feelings. They guessed Natasha opened up when she was around other girls instead of men all the time.

"Oh my God, who would have thought that shy, swweet, quiet guy would be so romantic?" Pepper asked, sighing.

"Guys like Bruce are slowly fading away..." Jade said, leaning against the window sill. "I really want to run out there and give them a hug, but I don't want to ruin their moment..."

Natasha laughed at Jade's last comment, propping her head on her hands. She shook her head lightly.

"I have to agree with you on that one, Jade...they are so cute together..."

The guys looked at each other, confused.

"Girls like that stuff?" Thor asked in a baffled manner, pointing at Adeen and Bruce.

Steve began to laugh and pointed at Tony.

"Ha! I told you I give good advice on romantic matters! Take that bitch!"

Everyone stared at Steve in shock. He folded his arms across his chest.

"Did you, Steve Rogers, just use 21st century slang?" Tony asked in complete and utter disbelief.

"Yea? What, you gotta problem with it?"

Tony threw his arms around Steve and gave him a tight, brotherly hug. Steve staggered backwards a little, not seeing that coming. Jade began to giggle a little at Steve's reaction. STeve noticed this and looked directly at her. His face went red and he began to feel different for some reason. Today her hair was bright red, tied back with a green bow. She wore a green casual dress with sweater leggings and a pair of boots. He smiled down at her, forgetting Tony for a moment. She noticed this and returned the smile. Her cheeks began to turn rosy. She looked a lot like her sister at that moment. They both had the same face, complexion, and bright, warm smile that could make anyone smile.
