Adeen looked down at her little sister. Well, she wasn't that little anymore. The last time she saw Jade; she was five years old, lying on the ground supposedly dead. Now standing before Adeen was Jade. She had curly, neon purple hair tied back in a messy bun. She had those same green eyes. She resembled her mother so much, especially when she had her natural hair color, which was a dark auburn color. She wore a patterned, flowing shirt that had a floral print to it and lace that covered the front part of the shirt. She had a pair of faded blue skinny jeans that were slightly ripped up and heeled brown cowboy boots on. Her complexion was the same as Adeen's, and she was a little shorter than Adeen also. Jade looked at the professor, not noticing the two people in the room.

"Hi, professor, you needed to speak to me?" she quietly greeted in a light, southern accent.

"Hello, Jade. There is someone here who would like to see you after a very long time."

Jade looked over at the two people and froze. She stared at Adeen deeply, as if she were studying her or remembering something about her. Adeen began to become even more nervous. What if her sister didn't remember her? That would be understandable since Jade was only five when she last saw Adeen. She held her breath, not sure if breathing was going to help much in this case.  Adeen couldn't believe how much her little sister had grown up. She had turned into a very beautiful young lady. Jade slowly walked up to Adeen and stood right in front of her. She still kept her gaze on the taller woman as recognition slowly began to come to the young woman's face.

"A-Adeen?" she weakly inquired, shock was beginning to take control of her expression.

Adeen felt a lump hit the back of her throat and could feel the tears burning at her eyes. She nodded down at her little sister, unable to create words, in fear of her voice cracking with emotion. She couldn't believe her sister remembered her after all these years. After all these years...she still remembered her. She never forgot about her. Jade stood there for a moment, then wrapped her arms around Adeen's waist and embraced her in a tight hug. Adeen wrapped her arms tightly around her little sister and pulled her closer to her, not wanting to let go of her. She had missed too much of Jade's life already. She missed watching her grow up, she missed out on holding her sister when she got upset over something, she missed out on helping her sister, she missed out on everything. She didn't want to lose one more minute. She held tightly onto Jade, smiling as tears began to stream down her face.

"I-I thought you were dead..." Adeen quietly whispered into her ear, trying hard to keep her voice under control.

"I thought so also..." Jade responded back.

Jade closed her eyes and buried her head into her older sister's shoulder. Jade missed her older sister terribly. She remembered everything about her sister. She remembered all the things she did to protect her from their father when he was angry. She remembered all the little things Adeen did for her. She remembered everything. Adeen pulled away a little from the hug and looked down at her sister. Jade looked back up at Adeen with a smile on her face. Adeen pulled a strand of her purple hair that was loose behind her ear.

"You got so big...and pretty." Adeen finally told her, laughing lightly.

"So have you..." Jade responded. Jade then took notice to Bruce standing beside Adeen. She looked at him curiously, knowing she had seen him somewhere before. "Um...who are you...?" she shyly asked.

"It's Bruce, Jade...don't you remember, Bruce?"

Instant recognition hit Jade as she looked at the doctor. She smiled and let go of her sister and quickly gave Bruce a hug. Bruce was a little surprised that she remembered him and also by the sudden hug. He then smiled and wrapped his arms around Jade tightly. Bruce remembered Jade as being Adeen's little shadow when he had come over to hang out with Adeen. She always found a way to get away from her mother to be with Adeen. Adeen didn't care and always let her stay with both of them no matter what they were doing. He remembered how Adeen would always pretend to not see Jade when she hid from them, then she would sneak up behind her and pick her up, twirling her around in the air. Bruce always had admired the way Adeen treated her little sister all those years ago and was never bothered when Jade tagged along. Jade pulled away from him and gazed up at him. She had to crane her neck up a little more than she had to for Adeen since he towered over both the girls.

"I remember Bruce and Jennifer." Jade answered her sister, gazing up at Adeen with the warm smile she had always had since she was a little girl. She looked back up at Bruce. "You know...for someone who turns into a giant green rage monster...you are awesome."

            "Thanks, Jadey..."
