Author's notes: O'Sullivan's is one of Adeen's father's and uncle's buildings. They worked together in business. They have businesses along the east coast. This building was the one Adeen's father always went to and took Adeen to when she was younger during the summer, this is before he turned all evil.
Adeen parked her black Silverado in the parking lot. She turned the engine off and sat in the darkness, except for the light from a distant streetlamp. Her ear piece came to life then judging by the sudden buzzing.
"Lasher, you're cleared to enter, Cap and I have cleared away security and dealt with some jokers." Tony's voice updated her.
"Roger that." Adeen answered back.
Adeen looked over at Bruce sitting in the passenger's seat.
"If I'm not back in 10 minutes, come and find me." Adeen explained.
"All right, just be careful." Bruce agreed.
Adeen opened the door and got out. She looked back at Bruce and smiled her signature grin, grabbing her bo out of the trunk.
"Aren't I always?" she asked, shutting the door. As swiftly as she could, she ran towards the building and slipped inside. She warily walked through the building, bo in hand just in case.
She knew this building well from her childhood visits. It was one of three buildings her father and uncle ran together. When her father worked in New York over the summer, Adeen's mother always brought her brother, sister, and her to visit. That was before Adeen's father went dark side. Adeen shook her head to get the memories out of her head. She was getting closer to the top of the building when she saw light protruding through the bottom of the door. She silently went to the door, pressing her ear up against the wood. She could sense one person in the room, and she knew exactly who it was. She kicked the door open and sank into a defensive pose, bo ready, when she entered the room.
And there he stood: Leroy O'Sullivan. Slicked jet black hair with a hint of grey, brown-green eyes, wearing a black trench coat over a black turtle neck, black pants, and black shoes. He had aged over the years but still had a muscular physique. His eyes met hers then, dancing with amusement and shock.
"Hello, daughter. Nice of you to have dropped by."
"I want explanations for so many thing,s but my first question is...how did you escape prison?"
"I think you of all the sad excuses of human life you work with should know. You know how manipulative I can be..."
"Yeah...I do know how manipulative you can be...and that's my family you're talking about, bub..."
"Oh please, Adeen, you must know they are...especially that one you're in love with...what's his name? Banner is it?"
"You shut the hell up right now..."
"He is a freak of nature, Adeen. The whole lot is. You could do so much better working for me instead."
"I will never work for you..." her words came out like venom, nothing merciful in her tone whatsoever.
"Fine, have it your way then. You're the one who will be going to Hell." he sinisterly answered, clenching his jaw.
Adeen chuckled softly with a mischievous grin upon her face. She slowly looked up at her father.
"If I'm going to Hell, you're comin' with me."
Leroy swiftly reached into his coat and skillfully threw a knife in her direction. As Adeen moved aside, blocking the knife with her bo, the knife went straight through the bo, splitting it in half. Adeen looked down at the two wooden halves. When she looked up, Hell was dancing in her eyes. She furiously threw her broken bo to the ground with so much force, the wood became a million pieces of shards. She angrily charged towards her father beginning to skillfully throw punches and kicks of rage at him.
