Chapter 5

"Hey Avy, I've got good news for you" Iris stated with a smile

"What?" Avyrain replied

"Can you give this final list of players to Valt after class in my place?" Iris stated as she handed her a folder

"Can't you just give it to him?" Avyrain replied

"I've created this opportunity for you plus I have to report to the teacher after class, it's such a hassle" Iris stated

"What opportunity can I even get in this?" Avyrain asked

"Opportunity to get close with Valt" Iris teased with a grin

Avyrain sighed as she said "I think you're misunderstanding me, I wish for Valt's happiness not for me to involve my life with him"

"Eh but you like him though, right?" Iris asked

"Which part of what I just said did you not understand?" Avyrain stated with a sigh

"Everything" Iris replied

"Forget it, I'll give it to him after classes are over" Avyrain calmly stated

Iris then smiled as she proudly sat back on her chair

After classes were over all students were already going home, Avyrain was heading towards the 2nd year room where Valt is supposedly at

"I hope he didn't go home yet" she mumbled to herself

As Avyrain reached at the doorstep, she immediately opened the door

Valt was inside and a pretty girl was sitting on his lap clinging unto him

Upon seeing Avyrain, Valt immediately pushed the girl away as he walked towards her

"Senpai, why are you here?" he awkwardly asked

"I was asked by Iris to give this to you, I'm sorry I disturbed you just now" Avyrain calmly stated as she handed him the folder

"Ah it was nothing, thank you" Valt replied as he received the folder

"Well then I'll be going now" Avyrain stated as she turned and started walking

"About what happened just now" Valt exclaimed

Avyrain turned to face him as she said "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone"

She then turned and walked away

"That's not it" he uttered under his breath

The girl who was sitting on her lap hugged him from behind as she asked "Why are you still standing here?"

Valt grabbed her hand as he shove it then he immediately walked away

After a while, he was sitting while casually looking at the paper he just received

Valt can't concentrate and decided to look for Avyrain

Just then, he suddenly spotted Iris walking at the hallway

"Have you seen Avy senpai?" Valt asked Iris

"I think she had already gone home" Iris replied

"Why are you looking for her?" she asked

Upon hearing this, Valt was suddenly rooted from his spot

"I don't know, why am I even running around looking for her?" he mumbled

Meanwhile, Avyrain just returned home and she immediately soak herself in the bathtub

"It's a good thing that Valt is still playing around with girls, that way he won't be hurt if he really did fall in love especially if it's Astrid" she mumbled to herself
